The optometrist is great, however, be aware of their sales approach! They use sales tactics to get you to order glasses or lenses at obsurd markups.
I fell for it I ended up spending $300+ (including my entire insurance allowance) on contacts that I could have bought at $140 through my insurance's online store. Even cheaper through Costco or 1800contacts. So instead of a 6 month supply of contacts through insurance, I only got 3 months. Lesson learned - do your research and stand your ground, VSP or other insurers have better deals available, and it's not even close.

This was my first time visiting an eye doctor in over 10 years, but I had such a great experience, I plan to come back every year. After all the tests were completed, Dr. Mann explained the results and made recommendations about which eyeglasses were best suited for my needs. I had the best experience at Optometry At Redwood Shores! I have been blowing off going to the eye doctor for a few years, opting instead to do one of the simple vision confirmation through a well marketed contact distributor, just to get contacts, if I had known how easy and wonderful it was to visit Dr. Mann, I would have come much sooner! Her office was lovely, easy to find, lots of parking, clean, the staff was wonderful and the equipment was so high tech! This was the most enjoyable eye appointment I have ever had. Thank you for the great care and wonderful experience, I can't wait to visit again next year!

Optometry At Redwood Shores has been taking care of me for many years. I love the staff and doctors. There are so many long term team members it feels like home. I certainly recommend their services for anyone. There is one BIG EXCEPTION. The inventory of eye glass frames. It appears since merging with a large corporation 4 years ago, many of the high-end brands are no longer available.. This gives me great pause, to consider switching to a boutique provider. In the past, I always found my Jimmy Choo frame. Bring Jimmy Choo back. And Fysh. Please Please. Dayna
