Tearse Eye Care

Dr. Manik is a fabulous professional! I had a great experience being her patient today. I can't recommend her enough. The best ophthalmologist I have ever met. Thank you for all the detailed exams and information. I will be back next year.

Dr. Tearse and Dr. Manik are both incredible. I have dry eye and my previous ophthalmologist's best advice was "have you tried eye drops", lol. Dr. Tearse and Dr. Manik on the other hand don't leave any stone unturned and offer the best dry eye care in the Bay Area. When I go to their office I know I am in expert hands - my condition has gotten so much better over the past few months!

The wait: My appt was later in the day but even then, I did not have much of a wait at all. Once the patient in front of me at the registration left, I was immediately greeted by the receptionist and was given a clipboard to fill out my medical history. I was called in even before I finished the first page--pleasantly surprised. The appt: The nurse was initially a little distant but quickly warmed up once we started chit-chatting. Initially Dr. Tearse was very to the point and not so much focused on building rapport but that changed as the appt went on. I actually found him to have a great sense of humor! However, what I most liked about Dr. Tearse was that he was thorough and really took the time to answer all my questions and even those that I did not know I had. He pointed out that I had ptosis in one my eyes and really took the time to explain in layman's terms the cause of ptosis in my case and what my options were. I would recommend Dr. Tearse for his experience and his professionalism!

We love this office, no waiting to be seen,the staff is very pleasant. Dr Tears and Dr. Monik r wonderful, patient and caring Drs., who go out of their way, which we didn't find many in Ca.

Dr. Manik is a very kind and thorough optometrist who is very professional and knowledgeable. She takes the time to explain things further and is always happy to answer questions. I would highly recommend to see Dr. Manik!

Really fast and friendly! They were able to see me quickly in an emergency situation when the wait at the ER was going to be 4 hours. I really appreciate it!

This office is great for urgent eye care needs (red eye, infection, eye pain, eye injury, etc.)

Doc is great but the office / comms / appointment management / reminders are all stuck in the 1980s
