Woodside Optometry

I've had good experiences here two years running, felt well-taken care of by the doctor and staff, and liked the selection of frames. When I initially called to get my annual appointment this time, I was told the first availability they had was more than six weeks out with an associate doctor. I was concerned, because I'm a returning patient, but they offered to put me on a wait list and, within a few hours I had an appointment for the following week with Dr. Solomovici. It seems like they are growing and Dr. S. told me they will be adding a second exam room and beefing up the web site/online contact options. I appreciated the fact that Doctor Solomovici and her staff responded to my initial concern over appointment availability and am glad to support a local, independent business!

For the first time in 56 years I have the perfect frames that I can wear without issues! The techs here are sweet, helpful, knowledgeable ladies (Louann is AMAZING!) and this is the only Dr. that treated my keratitis correctly since 1994. Huge selection of frames and very reasonably priced. So, so satisfied that I cannot rave enough! Whole family's going there now!

Excellent care from Dr. Solomovici. Her exam was super thorough and she even spent a few minutes helping me pick out glasses herself. Super sweet. Her staff was amazing- they were extremely polite and helpful. They even accommodated me when I was more than a tad late for my appointment. They were very understanding and went above and beyond. Thanks team!

Really good experience! My wife and I visited Woodside optometry a few months ago to get a couple of glasses made and order a few months' supply of contacts. Dr. Solomovici and all of her staff are extremely kind, patient, thorough, professional and experienced. Every aspect of our interaction was a 10/10 experience. Dr. Solomovici did our eye test and spent a lot of time explaining everything to us in great detail. Her staff let us take all the time we needed to try on dozens of pairs of glasses and explained to us the different lens options and our insurance coverage in abundant detail. They also have a huge selection of frames including designed/branded ones and we were completely satisfied with the glasses we got made. Highly recommend, and will visit again next year!

If I could I would give it 6 stars. I have not experienced a more caring Optometrist. Her advice goes beyond the standard care and is customized to my condition. She gives extra tips and is more on the conservative side with her advice, on what to do and not to do, when it comes to the health of your eyes. The technicians in the office are all very friendly and provide excellent service. I love the variety of frames they offer, as I can always find a pair of glasses there. Now, I am also bringing my kids and husband for their annual check ups.

I've been loyal to LensCrafters for years but recently I've found they don't have a good selection of glasses with a slimmer profile and it's never a fast experience there. So I decided to give my local optometrist a shot and walked into Woodside Optometry. I was immediately greeted by Monse, who took the time to make sure I had all my questions answered. She even helped me decide between a couple options I was torn between and was able to determine what glasses would be best for my skinner facial features. She then helped me maximize the discounts from my insurance company and made sure to use my insurance on sunglasses (as opposed to the regular glasses) which maximized the amount of coverage! She took the time to explain the different options for coating and polarization. I ended up getting a killer deal on 2 pairs of glasses with all the coatings and polarization and I was in and out within 30 min as a walk-in customer (I came in with my own prescription.) Monse made the whole experience of picking out glasses very fun and stress free. For the first time ever I feel like I got the perfect glasses and the experience here makes me regret not coming here sooner! Thank you, Monse and keep up the great work!

very nice very friendly, I brought in a pair of old glasses and asked to change lenses, and they are happy to do that.
