Rey saved my Eyevan 7285! True craftsmanship. Incredible service and skill. My titanium glasses broke right at the bridge, and I thought they were done for. Rey fixed them perfectly with laser welding--you can't even tell they were broken. Super professional, fast, and the quality of work is outstanding. Best place in the Bay Area for eyeglass repair!

I had a wonderful service experience with Get Your Fix Optics a year ago. This place is awesome, very clean, organize, staff friendly, competent and caring. So I'm happy to finally found a reliable choice for my eyewear needs plus to be always greeted by a beautiful and cute little furry doggie. This month Rey fixed issues on my prescription accuracy on my reading eyeglass not done properly by another establishment. He provided discount and warranty to adjust my nose pads and change of color shades for my sunglasses as well. Rey was exceedingly supportive and kind. Upon first call, I was able to make contact, discuss the issue with my eye glasses, and able to text a photo for an estimate. He responded within 5 mins with a reasonable quote and expected timeline for repair (45 mins). I wanted a second opinion, so I called SpecTek which was a lot longer wait to get in contact with someone, and an even longer duration to get an estimate (several days) after emailing photos. Furthermore, SpecTek explained the repair would require a full removal of the nose piece and replacing it with a different nose piece. Get Your Fix Optics followed up with a simple welding of the existing piece, explaining that the replacement process would have created an uneven fit. The decades of experience from Rey clearly shows, as well as his superb customer service. He also repaired my wife's sunglasses for along with my eye glasses. Additionally, they sell high quality frames and lens. I will definitely be going back!

The sales associate at the Valley Fair Mall had suggested a consultation could result in the shipment of my glasses back to Italy for repair. I couldn't bare the thought of separating from my favorite sunglasses for 4-8 weeks for a missing screw. (designer sunglass I've owned since 2007). With my urgency for a second opinion, a colleague of mine had recommended this location to me for their expertise and customer service at Get Your Fix Optics in San Mateo. I met Grace at the front desk and she greeted me with a smile and while I spoke, she had eyes that glistened like the bright energy the shop gave. My entire interaction with Grace and her husband Rey, the genuine feeling of wanting to help me was present. They even said if they could fix it on the spot, the service would be of no charge (which turned out to be!) I also had the pleasure of speaking with Rey; his introduction as a business owner and goals for running the shop in a prime location explained how he caters to everyone's eye wear needs. It's an easy travel and your GPS can guide you to this shop. It's located inside a commercial building on the first floor with signs to guide you. A very safe location as its next to residential homes and other businesses like dental, law firms and brokers. From Borel Ave, traveling away from El Camino Real, make a left on Borel Place and on your immediate right hand side is the front of the office building, 1650 Borel Place. You can park on the street, a long side the building or enter the parking lot on the side of the building. Apparently they take appointments, but if you walk in and it's not busy, you may be able to get assistance on the spot. Perhaps I walked in the right time last Saturday, mid-morning. I also noticed right away that this Get Your Fix Optics is extremely clean and organized. A very inviting lounge area with coordinated modern lounge chairs, wall art and flat screen TV. And not to mention the clean laminate flooring and brightly lit rows of show room glasses on the opposite side of the lounge area. This location is a hidden gem! Thank you, Rey and Grace! Cedric provided stellar customer service - professional, friendly, on point & personalized guidance when I described a specific "look" I had in mind for my next pair of frames. He's super knowledegeable about the different eye brands and how they might meet some of my criteria (e.g. low bridge) -- listened carefully to my fit issues and current wishlist "look" and pointed me to a wide variety of AWESOME shapes (and introduced me to new brands) that I never would have thought would look good on my face. He was extremely patient & accomodating with helping me take photos to analyze each look. The shop has a huge selection of high quality frames ranging from contemporary stylish statement pieces to classic everyday frames -- and you can really feel the craftsmanship & comfort when trying on brands like Black Fin, Gotti, Garret Leight, etc.

Absolutely stunning work, amazing accommodations, finding solutions to problems that no one else can. Added adjustable nose pads to glasses without it. Adjusted pitch of the end of the tempples of my glasses so I can finally wear over the ear headphones with them. Also found a pair of temples for my old glasses that no other store or even the brand themselves could get. Absolutely incredible resourcefulness!

Went here to get my favorite pair of glasses fixed. It was pretty bent up, but now they look great again. I'm so happy with how my glasses turned out! Rey was extremely knowledgeable and really took the time to help. I genuinely enjoyed the experience. Plus, he has some great eyewear pieces in the shop too! Highly recommend!

I came from all the way from San Francisco to sam mateo to get my glasses fixed that no could figure out how to fix and Rey did not disappoint me! Fixed it for me the same day Super knowledgeable kind and professional! He is the best known optician and i will recommend everyone who's having a bad day with glasses to give "Get your fix" a chance.
