5 stars for the customer service!!!!! Site for Sore Eyes in San Mateo has literally never failed me with how amazing their customer service is. The two guys I have worked with (Justin and Alex) have been there for years and they are always going above and beyond. They make my life easy when it comes to figuring out my contacts and glasses situation. Same for figuring out complicated insurance coverage, they're super knowledgeable. They are kind enough to give me honest opinions on how my glasses look on me haha. And they are always super helpful. Very much appreciate them, they've kept me coming back to this store. Not to mention the wide variety of frames. I always ask for narrow frames and they have a good selection. Highly recommend.

My wife and I came in without an appointment just to look at some new frames for each of us. The staff was so accommodating, knowledgeable and helpful. We were even able to get an eye exam on the spot, there was a cancelation right as we walked in. We each got some very nice frames and new lenses. I honestly can say, everyone we interacted with was extremely professional and helpful. The selection of styles and designer glasses was incredible. This is my new optometrist for sure.

Had a great experience . Dr. Jennifer was super knowledgeable about my eye history and explained my eye health and what I should be watching out for. I was also able to get a new pair of lenses at a great price right after my eye exam. The staff were also friendly. Definitely recommend them!!

I've been to several different locations and San Mateo provides the best services. Went there few times for minor glasses issues, they fix it for me without charges - and that's without knowing I do go to them for my regular eye exams. Always friendly, courteous and professional.

I lost my glasses and was flying to Japan the next day, so I urgently needed a new pair. They got my glasses done within a day, and even corrected the wrong prescription I gave them the same day. The staff was incredibly friendly and understanding! Highly Recommend!

Came in to shop for new glasses and they were kind enough to repair my current glasses for free! They changed out the nose pads and cleaned free of charge. Very nice service and huge selection.

Staff (Jessica & Justin) took care of all our needs with professionalism. In other words, great customer service. Pricing was better than expected.
