Dr. Timothy You treated my retinal detachments over a year and a half ago. He's patient, positive, and most importantly, an expert at what he does. I am so lucky to have been able to get my retinal detachments treated by him, and now my eye is stable 17 months after the first detachment occurred. He performed a vitrectomy and treated multiple retinal detachments in my eye, and now I have 20/20 vision with corrective glasses. It was a long journey, but I am grateful for his treatments. The waiting time at his office can be lengthy at times, but it's all worth it to have a healed, stable eye at the end of treatment. Thank you so much, Dr. You.

I've been going to this practice for over 20 years and I can confidentially say it's hands down THE BEST retina practice in Orange County. I have a rare eye disease and my retina has been expertly and compassionately cared for by Dr Timothy You. Due to the severity of my disease, I also have five other eye specialists at both Jules Stein/UCLA, and Gavin Herbert/UCI that deal with my cornea, glaucoma, optic nerve, lens, and inflammatory eye problems. Dr. You is very highly esteemed by all the other doctors I see on a very regular basis. Yes, there is often a long wait, but I can speak from years of eye specialist experience, that all the best eye doctors, at this level of specialty, have wait times. Patients have various speeds at which their eyes dilate, some older folks may take longer to be tested, explaining care and treatment is variable, and there are always the surprise emergency walk-ins that require immediate attention. I could go on but, as a long time patient with a one-in-a-million eye disease, I wouldn't think to go anywhere else than Dr. Timothy You at Orange County Retina.

05.11.2022 My first time here through a referral from my opthalmologist. The medical office is located behind or in between hospital so it was a little bit hard to find at first. I did not know the office is just past main hospital building but the address sign helped after I parked. Office staff were great, paperwork was ready for me to fill out as soon as I arrived. Majority of technicians who did the tests were great. Great because they explained exactly what they were doing and for what reason. One told me I made his day because of the smile I gave - it's wonderful to make someone's day, right? One technician must have been incredibly busy because she was fairly quiet when she came to do her test on me. The first female doctor who came to see me before my actual doctor was very nice! Nice and engaging because she totally explained what she was going to do - exactly what I want from a doctor. Love that on doctors! Waiting for my actual doctor and so far so good. Will update when I finish here. Final update - - overall great experience!

Dr. Esther Kim treated my retinal tear. Dr. Kim is caring, professional, and skilled. I received top-notch care and feel reassured about my eye condition. Highly recommend her services.

My appointment was at 9:00am. And now is 10:30am, I am still waiting to see the doctor.

I was grateful my optometrist referred me her out of an abundance of caution. They found beginning stage dry Macular Degeneration and have a cutting edge treatment that I have begun. They are professional and friendly , and my appointments are always timely.

It's always the best experience going there. All the machine are wiped down before used in front of you. But most of all the personal are all very polite.
