I've been getting shots for a year and a half and I wanted a 2nd opinion. He assured me he could help with my shots maybe spacing them out a month or two as I get a shot once a month now. I waited 2.5 months for his evaluation appointment. Then was scheduled an appointment 2 months later. I had 2 conversations with his office to ensure insurance payment. They insured me I was covered. As soon as I entered the room the staff pulled up forms to sign as I was getting a sample of the medication. Nobody knew why so I asked that the Dr explain since he was the one with the new plan for my eyes. I signed 2 authorizations on the screen after getting my eyes dilated by drops and never received copies. The Dr came in angry and complained that THIS insurance is deceptive and he isn't getting paid. I said I confirmed and he said todays visit was covered but the medication was not. He explained that he'd see me today but I have to find another Dr. after this. He failed to give me the numbing shot that I normally get and he aggressively gave me an injection I screamed and he put down syringe and left the room. I told him and staff that in 2 years that was the most aggressive and painful shot I've ever got. I wouldn't have come. I would have continued to see my current Dr. I am only 58 with wet macular degeneration and I was exhaustingly getting a shot once a month. Dr Miguire said his mom had what I had and he got her vision very good with shots every 2.5 months and that gave me false how. I did not need that experience it's hard enough getting these shots.as is. My primary dr wanted a 2nd opinion. The whole experience was such a bummer. He was angry and aggressive

I visited Dr.Hwang's office for a retinal exam and the staff was professional and polite. The office was busy the day I visited so the entire appt took 2 hours but Dr. Hwang was professional and thorough with his exam. I would recommend his services for a patient needing a retinal exam

Fantastic Dr. And facility in general. Staff are friendly and everyone's transparent. I'm a type 1 diabetic and think they have helped my vision 10 fold. Good stuff!!

One of the best physician office experiences ever. Every single staff member was at their very best. Friendly, knowledgeable and quick thinking professionals. All of the tests were in the doctor's hands when I met with him for exam and interview of symptoms. It was impressive. I sincerely appreciated the efforts of all.

Terrible professional courtesy... their ophthalmologist grudgingly accepted that my optometrist's diagnosis was correct. I got treatment. Crisis averted. But then, that awful off-site billing department. Worst back office experience ever. KEEP ALL YOUR RECEIPTS. THEY WILL BILL YOU SEPARATELY FOR YOUR CO-PAY. Cannot say more positive things about the Assistants and front desk -- they were professional and fabulous people to work with. But holy crumb! I removed three stars - one for the snooty doctor, one for the billing dept, and one more star just because the total experience at this practice was so off-putting. If you use this provider, be strong.

Dr. Gupta and the office staff are very efficient and capable. Dr. Gupta is extremely skilled and is good about answering any questions or concerns. Her expertise resulted in an outstanding outcome for me! Thank you Dr. Gupta for your excellent and diligent work. I see well and the world is beautiful!
