Quan M. Tran, O.D. Optometry

My husband and I needed an eye exam (contacts and glasses) and were pleasantly surprised to find Dr. Tran's practice within walking distance from us. We called and they were able to fit us in within a few days. Jerry (apologies if I got your name wrong) checked us in and provided exceptional service. We saw Dr. Reyes that day and she was phenomenal. She was friendly, knowledgeable, patient, and thorough. Our vision test for glasses was covered by Medi-Cal and we just paid the difference for the contacts portion of the exam. We checked the pricing online from other retailers before our appointment so we could compare their offerings. Their pricing is very competitive and there was no pressure to buy anything we didn't need. We ordered our contacts directly from them since their price was actually better than the major online retailers. Thanks so much for a wonderful experience - you have a customer for life!!!

Moms. If you have Cal-Optima and you or your youngin need to see an optometrist I HIGHLY recommend Quan Tran OD!! I took myself and my 22 month old to him and he was SO amazing and patient and creative in working with my toddler. I was so grateful because my toddler is wild and a little standoffish and I'd be lying if I said I wasn't nervous (as hell) about taking him to an eye exam. I was also skeptical because I feel like sometimes we, who have medi-cal, don't get the best choice of doctors. But it went way better than expected and I will continue going to this optometrist even when I have regular insurance again. With me he was very thorough and knowledgeable and just all around provided great service.

This review is long overdue. I have been coming to this practice since I was 18 years old. The staff is always and has always been very knowledgeable, attentive and sweet with all the patients that come in; never fails!.So if you are looking for a optometrist that you can depend on, ask as many questions as you want and feel like you are at home, this is the place to come to! As of for Dr. Quan, Dr. Quan is one of a kind, you have any questions regarding your financial situation, better proscription or test options, he is the man! Very passionate of what he does and knowledgeable so don't be afraid to pick his brain.

Honestly, one of the best doctors that I've seen. Dr. Quan is kind, patient, very knowledgeable and gives your great advice for eye care and heath. I first came here because I had an eye infection and he went above and beyond with both prescribing the best and most affordable medication and combined it with house remedies. Excellent practice! Always a great experience to come here!

Knowledgeable and honest! He put my fears to rest when it came to my so called "glaucoma" diagnosis from a previous optometrist from Del La P****. I had a large optic nerve and from that diagnosed me glaucoma and that they couldn't do much about it now. Well, that was not the case ! Dr.Tran thoroughly explained to me how you can have a large nerve from birth and not have it damage your vision. He conducted several tests over the years and felt assured I did not have glaucoma! Phew! His prices are very reasonably low for those who also don't have insurance (college student here with lack of insurance). Flexible scheduling too ! I wish my personal physician was this good !

I've been going to Dr. Tran for more than 3 years and every visit its been very welcoming. Dr. Tran is very knowledgeable and you can see his passion as a optometrist. The staff is always kind and respectful especially Jerry. I highly recommend.

I would give this over 100 stars plus I left Dr Trans office in happy tears....I didn't know for years now that I have been walking around blind almost literally when medi-cal covers contacts for a year and the exam for high prescriptions..my glasses are so thick they would break if anything ..he said he loves his job ...my other Drs I went to didn't bother telling me because they wanted money.i have none now so ivd been blind ..and he gave me money to go eat lunch. I stay at a shelter and I missed lunch...I couldn't believe there is still nice careing people in this world..I will do so much better now on my quest to find a job and in life!!!! Thank u for the bottom of my heart!!!

I have been coming here for 11 years. Dr. Tran is the most professional and experienced doctor. The staff is amazing and truly friendly and helpful. You won't find service like this anywhere else.
