I've been a contact wearer for over 20 years and I've never considered vision correction surgery until my eyes suddenly stopped tolerating contacts. I was told to wear glasses more, but my prescription is so high (-10/-11), so wearing glasses as thick as coke bottles made me 88% less functional as a human being and I have an active lifestyle. It was hindering my activity, so this was the first time in my life I considered surgery. I spoke to a few offices, but Beach Cities Laser Vision blew me away! The office itself had the chillest beach vibe and Katie and Lawrence were so incredibly welcoming and kind. When I say Dr. Liu is the BEST, I mean she is THEE BEST. She sat with me and talked through all my options and recommended EVO ICL as the best option since my prescription is so high and I'm not a candidate for LASIK. She took her time to answer ALL my questions, made me feel very comfortable and was very real and straightforward. I decided then and there to do the surgery and they had it scheduled within a few weeks! The funniest part is that she surfs too and I just happened to run into her out in the water before my surgery!
