Hope Vision Care

A friend recommended Hope Vision Care because I wanted to add nose pads to my glasses. I was wonderfully surprised by their quick service but also the quality of their work. And more than that, I was thankful for their great care for me and my glasses. They made sure I left the place feeling good about how they fit me. And Dr Dinh greeted me personally to ensure that I had all my optometry needs met. I will definitely go back and switch over to her as my new optometrist!

I had a great experience at my recent visit to the optometrist. Tien was very welcoming and made the check-in process smooth. JP, the pretester, was efficient and explained the pretests thoroughly, which I really appreciated. The exam with Dr. Ho went very well. She was patient, informative about proper eye care and what to look out for, and took the time to make sure I understood everything. When it came to choosing new frames, Risa and Jasmine were incredibly knowledgeable. I shared a sample of what I liked, and they pulled out a variety of options for me to try on. I went in expecting to choose the same style I always get, but thanks to their expertise, I ended up falling in love with some new frames I hadn't considered before. I'm excited to pick up my new glasses!

I have gone to countless optometrists throughout my entire life due to my high prescription and Hope Vision has been the best experience by a long shot. Everyone from the front desk, to the technicians, to the doctors, have been phenomenal, helpful and knowledgeable. I especially love Dr Michelle Shin, who took great care in making sure I felt comfortable. She is knowledgeable and provided well rounded care with suggestions on how to plan for any future issues that may arise with my eyes. She is truly a gem in this space and I would highly recommend anyone who gets nervous about eye care to visit Hope Vision and request Dr Michelle Shin!

I recently visited Hope Vision Care and was thoroughly impressed with the level of care and service that I received. From the moment I walked in the door, I was greeted with a warm and friendly smile from the front desk staff. They were very efficient in getting me checked in and set up for my appointment. During my appointment, Dr. Choi and Dr. Dinh were extremely knowledgeable and professional. They took the time to thoroughly explain all of my options and answered all of my questions patiently. I never felt rushed or like I was just another patient. The office itself was also top-notch. It was clean and modern, with state-of-the-art equipment and a comfortable atmosphere. Overall, I had a fantastic experience at Hope Vision Care and would highly recommend it to anyone in need of eye care. The staff was friendly and knowledgeable, the appointment was thorough and efficient, and the office was clean and welcoming. It was a pleasure to visit and I will definitely be returning for all of my eye care needs.

Dr. Choi and the staff here are very unscrupulous. Here's why: 1. My daughter has high myopia and high astigmatism and her eyes got scratched frequently while wearing Ortho-K lenses. All the other ophthalmologists and optometrists strongly advised my daughter to wear glasses or soft lenses, but Dr. Choi persistently tried to convince me that he would fit my daughter with new Ortho-K lenses that cost over $2,000. He is an optometrist who is more interested in making money than in the health of his patients' eyes. 2. They told me that the Optometrists at Hope Vision Care are in-network with my insurance company and charged me a $15 copay, but after a while they sent me a bill saying that the optometrist there was out-of-network and charged me another $150. I sent a complaint email to Dr. Choi but he ignored me and did not respond. My insurance company has been trying to get them to change that out-of-network claim to an in-network claim but they have refused to accept the offer. It seems like Dr. Choi has been retaliating against me for not getting my daughter the new Ortho-K lenses from him despite his long-time efforts to convince me. I highly recommend that you go to another trustworthy optometrist. ................................................................................................ In response to Hope Vision Care's response(10/29/2024) 1. My daughter found a good optometrist right after we saw you and she has been wearing soft contact lenses and glasses that fit her well. My daughter's eyes are very healthy so don't pretend to worry about her eyes. 2. I just checked with my insurance company and they said all you have to do is file a revised claim with my insurance company but you haven't filed anything yet. They said you have never tried to contact them to adjust the claim. Who on earth have you been talking to at my insurance company? I have never heard from you and when did you say you would refund me? You have my phone number. If you want to refund me, call me tomorrow. If you refund me the amount you wrongly charged me, I will post a revised review here. And if you don't give me a refund, I will continue to update it here too. I emailed the email address on the bill you sent me and the email address on Dr. Choi's business card. My email has a function to check receipts, and I have confirmed that all the emails I sent were received. And when my husband called you, you insisted that the bill was correct and demanded that we pay. Please stop lying. ......................................................................................................... Yesterday, January 8, 2025, I finally received a refund for the medical bills that Hope Vision Care had incorrectly charged me. Resolving this issue was a long and challenging process. I sincerely hope none of you ever have to experience the frustration of dealing with incorrect medical bills like I did.

Excellent Service All Around! Got a spec-shard of metal in my eye from working underneath my vehicle turbocharger-exhaust and delayed to even realize it happened. The staff got me in Same Day for my 1st appointment with them. Dr Jessica Ho had it out in 1 delicate and non-invasive swipe. Cleaned up the rust it left behind, which I find to be just as important as the shard removal. They then gave me enough eye drop meds to last the week and got me on my way in less than Oil Change at Jiffy Lube Thank You!

I have been a patient for about four years and have seen all three doctors. The level of attention to detail and patience is remarkable. This office has state of the art equipment and the doctors think outside the box. I am grateful for the kindness and comfortable service I received. There were times when I called in concerned regarding an unusual eye episode and was able to either talk to or come in the same day to see Dr. Choi or Dr. Guevara. Explanations provided are detailed and understandable. I am happy to recommend Hope Vision Care. You are in great hands!

I highly recommend Dr. Choi. He spent a lot of time with me and was eager to answer any questions I had. If the rating were only for the doctor, it would be 5 star. However, the front office staff did not make a good impression when I first arrived. They were not outright rude, but certainly not welcoming for a first time patient and made it seem as though I was an inconvenience for them to deal with. I will definitely continue to visit Hope Vision Care because of my excellent experience with Dr. Choi.
