DONT GO! I chose Dr.Zepeda as my optometrist because it looks like It is a nice family owned business. I was there for my annual eye-exam earlier this year. Front desk told me my insurance only covers a regular glass prescription exam (with an co pay) and I have to pay extra for my contact lenses. After that visit I paid $50 for the sample contact lenses, and was told I am good. I will get my contact lenses prescription in a week (after the fitting). The next day I got the call from another front desk, stated I need to pay $130 more for the Contact prescription instead. If I don't want to pay, I won't get any contact lenses prescription. (in conclusion, I paid $50 for nothing). I wish they can be more clear about how much they are going to charge for the service prior to the visit Instead of asking for more money after. Another incident happen recently makes me decide I will never visit this office again. Yesterday I got a copy of my glass prescription. When I'm trying to order a pair of glasses online It asked for the PD number that is not included in my prescription. I called back to ask for that information, and the front desk said it will be another $20 for that information. She said " Prescription is free but the PD number you need to pay extra for that. You need that to order glasses online".So basically, you get partial information for free, you have to pay extra to get the rest of the other half. Personally, I will not go there again. There are so many other Optometrist in the area, and I would just choose another provider then. And I think you should do the same!

Dr. Cepeda is very experienced and gets the prescription RIGHT - including single lens vision and more recently as I've moved to progressive lenses with age. He also is good with specific requests such as "contacts specifically to play tennis" or "glasses specific for computer" as my family and I are of different ages and have differing needs. His staff has always been good in helping me choose frames as well - advising on fashion, face shape, coloring to find the right color/shape which is right for you as an individual.

I like the old location better it had more sitting space bigger and better and the doctor here is great but one thing you might have to stand cause limited to sitting but its all worth it cause hes the best clean doctor cause someone tried on glasses they didn't like the nurse took them and cleaned them then I tried it on
