California Optometric Services

I was a patient there for over five years. Never had a problem with them. Very nice lady treated you fine and everything. If you had a problem, the glasses broke or need a realignment rear adjustment. They did it in June of this year. I went in there around the middle of the end of June because the Friday arms broke all my glasses And she told me well. We don't do IHP anymore because actually I went in to have my eyes checked to get my new glasses, but they say we don't use IHP anymore, but you can pay cash to get your eyes examined and then take the prescription to get it filled somewhere else that does IHP I wanna ask you what sense does that make for me to even do that when I have insurance that's gonna do all of that But long story short I pay she charged me $25 for the frames those frames she sold me they broke within six weeks. I am disabled. I can't get back and forth too much. I have to get someone to take me so I went in there today to take the glasses back because they the frame broke and she told me I gotta pay $70 but she'll do it for $60 now I just paid 25 hours for these friends before what IHP they she always guarantee the stuff for something broke. She would fix it but now she's telling me since I paid the $25 that would One pair of frames they don't wear way 10 ounces has gone up to $70 because of tariffs that doesn't make any sense, the math math so I told her just give me the book give me the frame back. I'll go somewhere else all the people I referred to her to use private insurance. I'm calling them and tell them don't go there no more This lady is the out for money now and that's it point blank and it's not my fault that IHP stop dealing with them for whatever the reason was. another thing I wanna say to everybody beware of a business that all ways have five star reviews. All businesses have negative reviews in regards of who they are beware

This review is way over due! I wanted to thank Lana and her team. I am a strong believer of working with local small business especially those that go the extra mile. As you already know vision and color is huge in my industry and I could not do what we do if it wasn't for them!

The owner, LanAnh, her staff, and Dr.Kathy Lee are all wonderful professionals. They are knowledgeable and have great customer service. My whole family has been coming to them for over ten years, since my kids were little(now teenagers). I just bought my first pair of progressives.(A little scary.) LanAnh walked me through on how to use them. So far, so good. Variety of frames and lenses...great place!

Was told a nice discount would be offered due to being a cash customer with no insurance. After everything ended up paying over 700 when I could have just went to another clinic .. same services and paid wayyyyyy less. They do not return calls and I had to wait over 60 days for my frames to arrive! I would really reconsider if I would have known the discount would have been less then $100.

I've been going here (and the rest of my fam) for about 10 years now. They're AMAZING, really nice and obv great at what they do. The team is awesome and dope. They have several options for frames and lenses including designer and budget friendly pairs and they always give me sample contacts to take home with me (I like to see which colored contacts look best before I order them). They've got pretty solid social media engagement so Id check them out on IG.

I have been a very happy customer of California Optical for 20 years. So much so, that I now have lived out of state for two years and still purchase my glasses here. Lan Ahn and her staff provide exceptional service that can't be beat in my opinion. I cannot recommend California Optical enough.

Excellent optometrist. My daughter and I like going to the optometrist. To get the vote of a ten year old is good. No other provider, including other optometrists, got my ten year old child's vote.
