I walked out feeling condescended to, like I had bruised his ego by asking questions and advocating for my child. "Well, since you're so convinced that you're right maybe you should go see another doctor." Felt rushed like we were going to make him late for something. He's now sent us to Stanford twice to see other specialists, both of whom were much kinder and demonstrated much more "respect for persons." Fortunately, both Stanford doctors have disagreed with Gustavo's findings, and took the time to explain to us, and to put us at ease, about our daughter's physiology. At the end of the day, I'm happy that Gustavo referred us to Stanford so that we don't have to come here again.

I would give doctor Gonzalez negative stars if I could. I took my one year old son for clogged tear ducts. He did not even acknowledge the child or even look at his eyes. He immediately plugged surgery with total anesthesia and directed me to the receptionist to make an appointment and discuss payment. I ended up taking my child to another doctor in Los Gatos, and she was able to resolve his issue with EYE DROPS. A bad doctor on so many levels. No Humanity, no care for a child, no care for a patient, immediately thinking about how to make the most money possible, even risking the life of a child with unnecessary total anesthesia. I actually think his license should be revoked. Maybe I will call the Medical Board.

I cannot put into words how amazing Dr. Gonzalez is. My 15 year old daughter has had a lazy eye since birth. Dr. Gonzalez tried correcting it with changing her prescription and then finally we decided on surgery. He went over everything with us multiple times until we felt good about it. The surgery went perfect. He aligned my daughters eyes perfectly. She is finally confident enough to not keep her hair in her face. The follow up appointments have been great. He told my daughter yes proud of her and everything is perfect. Dr. Gonzalez has changed our lives.

Would give negative stars if possible! DO NOT GO HERE! The most unprofessional place I've ever been to. Dr Gustavo was rude and felt like we were rushed. Gave a diagnosis about my son's eyes before looking at them himself! It was one thing after another! I'm disgusted! Horrible place

Dr Needs to learn how to talk and communicate with children. I don't understand why he is a pediatrician, if he doesn't have the patience, love and professionalism to talk to children!
