Dr. Jonathan M. Davidorf, MD

I've visited Dr. Davidorf's office in West Hills multiple times, and while Dr. Davidorf is an excellent and caring ophthalmologist Only,, the scheduling at this facility is consistently unacceptable. During my most recent visit, I waited an hour and a half before being seen. My husband and another referral I made both experienced similarly excessive wait times. It seems that the scheduling staff does not value patients' time, which undermines the quality of care provided by Dr. Davidorf himself. If you plan to visit, be prepared to wait at least two hours. Unfortunately, the poor scheduling practices significantly impact the overall experience. I had to walk out as I couldn't wait anymore.

This is the most outstanding ophthalmology practice I have ever been a patient of and I'm old enough to have stayed too long at several others. The busy practice is fine tuned from the front desk to the assistants who are all efficient and are organized, and get you in the day you call with a problem. They have four or five doctors but I'm singing the praises of Dr. Tennen and Dr. Gellerman. They are so knowledgeable, kind, patient, welcoming, and brilliant doctors! They are busy but don't rush you, listen to what you want to tell them and give you options and suggestions for a course of treatment. I am so grateful for them helping me get through my ordeal.

My experience at this office was terrific. The front office was polite and efficient. Lindy performed all the pre appointment testing. She was very kind and put me at ease. The Opthalmologist was incredibly nice and very knowledgeable. I would highly recommend this office to anyone. 5 stars.

I cannot say enough great things about Dr. Davidorf and his staff. Everyone there is so wonderful and takes such good care of you. I was a bit nervous to get Lasik with a 3 month old at home but Dr. Davidorf walked me through everything and made me feel so much better. During the procedure he talks you through every step. The whole thing is quick and painless. He even checked in with me after to see how it was going. He makes you feel like he cares and he's just a great guy as well. Do it! It is so worth it and I can't recommend a better Doctor!

Beautiful place, ground level, large parking lot so far so good. We've been coming here for years, however, our 2021 appointment was a painful experience. Overbooked appointments made the place crowded. Feeling of assembly line and lack of care for patience. The technicians did the tests and placed the patients in rooms. The wait time was long despite of "few minutes" assurance. Husband and wife with appointment at 9 and 9:30 finished after 11:00 am. We are looking for another eye care, which really cares.

At best 2 stars as the ladies in the eye glass department are the best thing about this office. Reading the reviews I see that others share the same opinion as I do. My husband and I were both diagnosed with the same eye condition and both recommended for laser surgery. Both of us have never had any eye issues in the past. Hmmmmmm sound a little suspicious? Then they charged my PPO health insurance for tests they performed on me and did not bother to check if they were covered under my plan as most offices do before a procedure. Now I am chasing my insurance company and have a $600 bill not to mention I have VSP eye insurance so why the charge to my health insurance? The billing department is the worst and nobody returns calls.

I had lasik surgery 20 years ago and still am super happy. I moved to Switzerland recently and just saw an ophthalmologist and he said my surgery was very well done. My brother also had his lasik surgery with Dr Davidorf and it has been about 15 years and he is still very happy.

My brother went to this office and recommended it to me. I have bad vision and it just keeps getting worse so I tried it out. Surprisingly it was great! I got glasses that helped me see better and they lead me through each step during the process. The staff and doctors there were very nice and wonderful. They are super friendly and professional. Even though this is far from where I live, I still go there till this day because this is the best place I've ever been to.
