Typically love this eye doctor but as my insurance had changed I called to make an eye appointment, told them my new insurance. Not until hours after my appointment, picked out and paid for a new pair of glasses they call and tell me my insurance is not covered there and I would have to pay for my exam. I am not sure the procedure for checking insurance before taking a client but I would think you should let someone know their insurance is not covered before you book an appointment. After 6 years of being here I will now be looking for a new eye doctor.
