I have been seeing Dr. Heuer for at least 10 years now and I will continue to do so! If you want personalized treatment then this is the place for you. You are not a number, and it's not an in-and-out routine, this is professional eye care in the hands of an experienced doctor who listens to your concerns and makes sure you walk out with what you need (even if you end up shopping for glasses elsewhere). On September of 2025 I had some things going on with my vision. I knew Dr. Heuer was the person to call and trust. She guided me along the way even after office hours, which I will forever be grateful for. Bottom line: if you are able to, consider starting/switching your eye care/health with Dr. Heuer and her team. I have been seeing Dr. Lisa for several years. She is amazing! She's very thorough from start to finish. I moved 45 minutes away and ordered some glasses through a large chain (I won't mention the name of the facility). Those multi-focal eyeglass lenses from that place were nowhere near the quality compared to the ones I've had from Valley Vista Eye Care... AND they were practically the same price! I've since had the lenses replaced from Dr. Lisa and won't go anywhere else again for eye glasses. More recently I've had some eye health issues. I contacted her via text message and she immediately called me and got an appointment for me to see her right away. Love, love, love her!

The best. Absolutely the best. I made online appointment one night and was telephoned next day by them and appointment for following day at 8:30. Went for routine eye check. I dont like doctors or hospitals or dentists and anything like this and i havent been for eye check in over 12-15 years. I would say they changed my feeling about these things. Its a small clinic. Very clean. Seem to have all the modern equipment needed. Very comfortable. Staff of 2 were warm and friendly and the doctor was the coolest. Knowledgable and thorough. Explaining everything i wanted to know and stuff i didnt know. Very personable and chill. Cant thank them enough. This isnt a planted review by someone thated knows them. I am super happy with the service. I will be going back for all my eyecare needs when or if needed.

I came in just to buy glasses last minute before I moved back to SoCal. It was such an inviting environment. Lisa (the receptionist) was very accommodating with the time constraint and was able to order, cut, and ready the glasses for pick-up within 3 business days. There ended up being an issue with the prescription, however, I was able to get a new set of lenses free of cost. I had to mail the glasses, but they were returned better than ever and within 1.5 weeks. If I were to live in Woodland, I would recommend this place. I greatly appreciate their customer service and promptness with service.

Very great service! Dr. was able to schedule me in and my son on the same day and was very thorough with the appointment and eye exam. Very thankful for the team and for wonderful service we received! Highly recommend!

Dr Heuer is the ultimate professional- extremely competent, up in all the latest research and a very kind and attentive person. She and her staff also took excellent care of my elderly mother, and went out of their way to help her. And Dr. Heuer's staff are extremely competent and understanding. I trust Dr. Heuer and her staff implicitly and would recommend this practice for anyone.

Dr. (Lisa) Heuer is not only extremely knowledgeable and passionate about her work, she also has the talent and patience to educate you about your eye health. She and her staff run a very professional business and we are lucky to have her in our community. I have sent friends and family to see her over the years without hesitation and will continue to do so for years to come!

Dr. Heuer and staff are amazing! I highly recommend her office for vision AND eye health. They listen carefully to you about your concerns, and give excellent, professional evaluations without rushing you through your office visit. I wish I had contacted Dr. Heuer before I went through Urgent Care and ER Visits. She could have helped me with my eye inflammation much quicker and could have avoided unnecessary time off from work.
