Eyes of Woodland Optometry

Really great experience! I really liked Dr. Leonard. She was knowledgeable and kind. I normally get anxiety at eye exams b/c most places ask way too many invasive medical questions, but I felt Eyes of Woodland were the appropriate level of inquisitive. I also really liked the women who helped me find frames. Overall, I am very pleased and am happy to have a new place for eye care!

The doctors are all very good, especially Dr. Brown and Dr. Leonard. Customer Service is pretty non existent and brings the star rating way down. What happened to professional dress? The office staff dress like they are about to mow a lawn, wash a car, or do some house painting. The selection of frames is not very good at all. I recommend going to Davis Kaiser to find a frame. You don't have to be a member to just browse their frames. If you find one you like, take down the manufacturer information and/or take a photo and Eyes of Woodland can order it for you.

Great doctors but customer service is terrible. lady at the front gave me really bad attitude and wouldnt help me at all to find a pair of glasses. Guess she doesnt know how mirrors work as I could see her rolling her eyes at me right behind my back...

Everyone from staff to doctors are fabulous here. I've been a patient since they were on the mall so many years ago I can't count. Heck the original owner has since retired but has left the practice in excellent hands. Plan ahead as they are generally booked up well in advance especially towards the end of the year. I would rather pay out of pocket than go anywhere else!

Ever since Dr. Ellen Liebowitz retired, customer service has gradually evaporated. Ellen was always on top of making sure staff at the desk were quick to acknowledge and welcoming as customers entered. this is no longer the case! More than once upon entering, Karina continued to stare at her computer screen, leaving me standing at the door without any kind of recognition. When she finally decided to respond to me, there was no smile, or welcoming. In the past, if a staff person at the entrance was on their computer, they would always stop as soon as someone entered, and at the very least, smile and say "I'll be right with you."

Nice people and I liked their selection of glasses. Will return.

I had my first appointment there today, and it was an amazing experience with both the staff and the doctor. I felt truly heard, and they addressed concerns that my previous eye doctor had overlooked. I highly recommend them!

I'm sorry guys but you need to improve your customer service skills. I was there looking for a pair of sunglasses and there was ZERO effort to make me feel welcome or to explore the different options you may have. Zero engagement and made me feel I was rather bothering you both. Be more welcoming next time
