I have been a patient of Dr. Tran for 25 years, and it is disappointing to write a negative review. Dr. Tran herself is a wonderful physician; however, patients should not expect to be accommodated in urgent situations. I recently called first thing in the morning with an eye infection, hoping to be seen, but was told there were no available appointments. This was on a Friday, and the soonest I could be scheduled was the following Wednesday--even after I explained it was an active infection. As someone who works in a medical office, I know the importance of reserving emergency slots for existing patients who may require urgent care. I hope Dr. Tran's office staff will consider implementing this in the future. It saddens me to part ways with Dr. Tran after so many years, and I truly wish her the very best moving forward.

If I could give them 10 stars, I would! Dr. Tran and her staff are, hands-down, the best in the entire Yuba Sutter Area! I've been to other optometrists and they don't even compare, quite frankly. Thank you, Butte View Optometry, for the great service!

Note: Not accepting new patients. Was a patient and was not able to go back as it was too long ago since I have been to Butte View. If you will be a new patient, don't waste tour time trying to call multiple days due to calls being unanswered. I called multiple times for 2 weeks, trying to make an appointment. Calls would go unanswered. Finally, I am able to speak to someone to find out the place is not accepting new patients.

After trying to make an appointment, Dr. Tran's husband was completely rude and asked if, "I got it." Not once, but twice in an extremely rude manner when I just was trying to make an appointment for my family. I don't need a lecture about not missing an appointment when the appointment wasn't even scheduled and we've been clients for years.

Dr. Tran is the best. So much that I am writing a review which I never do. Not only was she very thorough, also very personable. She had me test different contacts and follow up to see which worked best for me....at no additional charge. Highly recommended.

Dr. Tran and staff made me feel like a valued customer. They have cute, name brand styles of glasses and contacts at reasonable prices. We recommend this place to everyone!

Love Dr Tran. She is very caring and takes her time with examining you. Great selection of glasses too.
