Went in to get contacts and glasses. I paid cash and no insurance. I knew my vision had changed because of health condition. I was given a trial pair of contacts. I tried for several days to get use to them and they didn't work. Was told by the doctor himself "Come back if these do not work,no appointment needed because I will a note." I did just that. From the time I walked in the door till the time I left, these ladies were so rude. When the lady handed me my new trail contact (one),she stated, " Here is your contact and the Doctor said if you don't have an appointment next time he won't see you. " Needless to say, "I don't need to go back. " This location needs an better attitude staff. These 2 older ladies are not offering a very welcoming environment. Does this location have a office manager? PLEASE FOCUS ON CUSTOMER COURTESY! NOT HARD TO JUST BE NICE TO CUSTOMERS THAT PAY YOUR SALARY.
My family and I have been coming here for a while. Our visits have always been great! Quick and polite welcoming when walking in the door. Friendly staff. I do want to recognize two employees that go above and beyond. Those two are Shadow and Ashley! Shadow always makes us comfortable with our visits, and Ashley always helps where it's needed. I recommend this store always!
So my experience with this location up to this point has been great. And this time my exam was super. They got me in early got my glasses picked out. Everything was great. I live 2.5 hours away so I asked them to ship my glasses when they came in. No problem. Then 2 weeks came and went then 3. So I called them, we have them right here we were just waiting on your contacts. Well I already have my contacts. So they shipped the glasses. When the glasses arrived they were no where near right. Gave it time to adjust. That didn't help. So I called the store. "You'll have to come back in" I can't I live 3 hours away. Well you'll have to see the Dr. Now we're coming up on the 20 day return policy. They extended it to the end of the month (great) but they refuse to refund my money unless I'm in the store. Which is ridiculous. I called the 1800 number. They put me in touch with the store. Again unhelpful unless I come to the store. So now I'm stuck with glasses that don't work. I'll never go back here. But who are we kidding they are corporate America, they don't care about loosing 1 customer when 10 more walk in the door. So I would save my money and go somewhere else where they can actually help you if your glasses aren't right.
Very disappointed with their service, long wait for the appointment, followed by the worker ordering and billing insurance wrong, along with ordering the glasses wrong, then they did not order the contacts as requested, when the contacts came in, staff member claimed my grandson needed to go through a class for the contacts because their in house notes said I would teach him. This is not what was said. I explained he had been though the class with a previous eye doctor but has not used the contacts for a year. Staff are rude and Lazy!!! Glass frame quality is poor, however the transition lenses once we received them were great.
I've been coming to this location since I moved to Grand Junction. The service is quick and made personal. Thanks to Relena, and the other staff at this store, I am able to get my glasses and contacts quickly. Dr. Woelfel, has been helping me with any update to my prescriptions and questions regarding my contacts when I come in too. I would recommend coming in to this location if you're in town!
My service here has generally been fine. Not great, but passable. But today I called and asked if they took my insurance. Yes, they said...but when I went in half an hour later, they denied it after getting really sassy with me for being a couple minutes late due to traffic. I said I called this morning-yes, they said, we take some versions of CIGNA but not all. Do you still want your appointment?
Well...no?
I suppose I'll be taking my business elsewhere from now on.
If I could give you a negative number I would! Terrible customer service experience I have EVER had in my life! Horrible service pretty much from the minute I walked in the door. They acted as if I was interrupting their day, not friendly or happy with their job. Told me I had two people in front of me so I decided to wait. They had one employee available to help with the purchase of new glasses. What they failed to tell me was after a patient was done with an exam they go in front of the walk in customers. In my time of waiting two patients went in front of me, making that four people in front of me. So I decided to leave because I could have been there all day waiting for my turn! I asked if I could make an appointment and they said they don't take appointments for new glasses only exams. NEVER will I do business at this location total disrespect and unwillingness to help! I will give my money to a local company and pay the extra dollars for the service. GET WHAT YOU PAY FOR! Do better!!
Shadow has got to be the hardest working on there! Very professional! Willing to help in anyway she could! Went out of her way to help fix all the problems i was having and most of all SHE HAS AMAZING COMMUNICATION SKILLS! Always has a smile on her face and an awesome attitude to match , 10/10 recommendations for her keep up the good job!
