Eyemart Express

i went into the store since my mother shops here often. I had an old pair of glasses that had the nose piece that fell off, it was an intricate fix. I was greeted by Mallery who promptly and professionally took my glasses to the expert in the back-repairman Ken (?). He fixed my glasses quick and at no COST! I was impressed! While I waited, Kim the sales floor lady was friendly and nice as I asked a few questions about new frames. Kim helped me find an alternative frame color which was not displayed. I liked them and will order them as soon as my insurance kicks in. Kim gave me the frame ID on a sticky note after printing the skew and details. Kim was very customer service oriented, a rare find these days! I commented to the manager Valerie how well I was treated. THANK YOU, YOU are all SUPERSTARS!

This review relates to Dr. Hicks the optometrist. I set up an appointment 2 weeks ago 9:30 for my annual eye exam as this location accepted my insurance. This was my first time coming here and the receptionist I set up the appointment with wasn't there that day. I waited a half hour past my appointment time and still didn't see the doctor. I left very frustrated. No one called me to apologize or ask me if I wanted to reschedule my appointment as I had completed part of the exam waiting for the doctor. I decided to give them another chance and rescheduled my appointment for 9am thinking I would be the first appointment of the day and I shouldn't have to wait. Well that wasn't the case. The receptionist was vacuuming the floor when I arrived and the doctor wasn't there yet. She showed up at 9:15 am! Once I got into the exam room and started talking to her, she had no idea why I was there and didn't review my records. Most of our conversation revolved her personal life. No glaucoma test was ever performed not did she talk about cataract. I know this is a long review but I will not be returning nor would I recommend going here to anyone.

5 stars. Im a return customer who travels over 120 miles to visit this location (in Grand Junction) as I am never let down by the knowledge and professionalism of this particular store. Special thanks to Kim upfront! She is the best!

Eye Mart staff was friendly, efficient and patient as I tried out several frames. The thorough exam with the latest equipment and the fitting of new glasses was definitely 5 Stars!

Eyemart Express in Grand Junction was most excellent. Technician, Val, was absolutely superb: considerate, thorough, communicated clearly, and exerted no pressure regarding my choices. Results were absolutely as described. Will recommend them to others and will use them again. Thanks to all.

The person who waited in me was kind, patient, attentive, professional, and engaging. She helped me with my insurance, frame selection, and the specific requests I had for my lenses. The selection was wonderful. I would recommend them highly!

All staffs were friendly and the exam was quick and easy. Many frames to choose from that made it comfortable for my nose frame and they adjusted it for my ear comfort too. Same day pickup; mine felt like it was ready within 15-20 min!

Not sure how this company stays in business. Some of the employees are down right rude. I keep going back because the glasses I purchased keep breaking each time they get worse. My wife has a bad experience as well. With so many other qualified opticians in the valley, I will never go back.
