Went in for a broken "wire/string" on a pair of rimless glasses, as Eyemart said they couldn't do it. It was quick and I learned a lot . You will be lucky to find a crafts person of his trade, especially these days who will share the history and process. You may be forced to love on his dog, Grace as she is a sweet girl. Thank you Jim for your help and for your service! Truly appreciated.

Jim is a valuable gift to our community! He was able to replace a broken leg of my old eyeglasses (with a matching one from his collection), and he spares his customers unnecessary costs (like for coatings and add-ons eye clinics or optical shops recommend that don't really affect the effectiveness of the eyeglasses). I found my new frame online, ordered the lenses through Jim, and he put together a new pair of eyeglasses for me that would have cost me 3X more elsewhere. Our whole family uses Jim's Optical Services and we are more than happy and satisfied. Grand Junction is blessed to have a rare gem of a craftsman in Jim - he works with great skill and serves with warmth and integrity. Jim easily fixed my broken glasses (lens came out and string around it came apart) and did a great job. He's professional and very personable. Well worth $10 to have it done right, right away. A large chain store told me they couldn't fix them and recommended I go see Jim. I highly recommend him, too.

If you have broken your glasses, can't find a temple to replace the broken one then come see Jim. Great place!
