Vista Vision Family Eye Care

I waited at the glasses area in Walmart for 30 minutes for my appointment before someone got to me and told me I was supposed to go into the office! I hadn't even seen another door! When I actually got into the office though, the receptionist was quick and Dr. Wilson was great. He was knowledgeable and answered all my questions patiently without trying to rush me. I was a little worried after reading some bad reviews by my experience there was great!

Billed me for over $300 for a routine eye exam. I asked if they accepted my vision plan before my appointment and at the appointment. Both times they said they did. Also, gave them my vision plan card and they charged my vision plan co-pay of $10. They then submitted it as a medical claim and only later told me they did not accept my vision insurance. My health insurer did not cover due to my deductible. Instead of admitting she made a mistake, she told me, in a condescending tone, that it is my responsibility to know my benefits. I responded that I know my benefits which is why I asked if you accepted my vision insurance.

Too fast exam (all of ten minutes) results turned out to be incorrect so Walmart glasses were wrong. I got retested by another Dr at another clinic who told me the Vista Dr's result for my left eye was way off. All I want is my insurance money returned to pay the second Dr but the Vista Dr won't accept responsibility for his failure.

Now I know why they have a 1 star rating. Kayla the front desk lady did not know how to handle questions about my bill, I tried talking to her nicely but she would respond to my questions like I was stupid. It is evident she cannot handle with curtsy challenging situations. I was treated nice when they wanted to get me in for a visit but when time came be nice also when it came to answering questions she lacked skills. No smile NO COMPASSION.

Second year in a roll I've gotten a new prescription and can't wear the glasses. Was rushed through exam, don't even think it took optometrist ten minutes to examine my eyes. And didn't even ck my bifocal vision. This is the last time I'll get my eyes examined here.

This place is completely terrible I've been calling them since December 13 and I have yet to get an answer on the phone. All I'm wanting to do is get an eye exam from a VA consult. Time to contact the VA and let them know that this business is unwilling to take VA consults any longer. Let's see how long they stay in business.

They are great. Have had multiple good experiences there and really liked the optometrist. He's very good with kids and adults both.

Won't return a phone call, wont answer the phone and then they lie and say I was a no show for an appointment that was never set. You have to speak to me to set an appointment before I can "no show"
