I HAVE SEEN DOCTOR LUBY FOR SEVERAL YEARS AND HE HAS BEEN A GREAT OPTOMITRIST! I HAVE ALSO MET THE OPTHALMOLOGIST AND DEFINITY RECOMMEND THEM. GREAT OFFICE AND DOCTORS. VERY CARING AND DETAILED ORIENTED. DR. CARTER GOES ABOVE AND BEYOND FOR ALL HIS PATIENTS AND IS WELL WORTH ANY WAIT. AND DR. KELLAM IS VERY ACCURATE WITH HIS WORK AS WELL. 10/10
Great staff and Doctor. I needed my eyes examined, it was over a year easily. I have had eye issues previously and needed to be sure all was good. My wife went to Dr. Kellam and liked him so I followed and he is good. He was thorough and complete. I was there before Halloween and that explains the odd looking person with a fishing pole in the waiting area. :-).
I was referred here from the VA for an eye injury. The Doctor and the staff were friendly, professional and very knowledgeable. I would highly recommend them.
I must commend this practice for its kind and generous staff. Although I am not currently a patient of Western Rockies Eye Center, the staff demonstrated great initiative and care when I contacted the practice to inquire about a recent procedure that had been performed by my current physician in another city. The staff at Western Rockies Eye Center put my concerns to rest, helped me to make a sound decision regarding my eye care, and contacted me in follow-up, as well. I will continue to rely on my current opthalmologist, but I sincerely appreciate and admire the staff of Western Rockies Eye Center. I highly recommend this practice.
Dr Carter and his team are absolutely fabulous! They are thorough, professional, personable, and efficient. They will go the extra mile if they see something that concerns them. I'm very grateful to be a patient and to trust them with my eyes!
So much incompetence going on all at once here. First of all, I was told they accept my insurance over the phone before scheduling an appt. During check-in, I gave my card to the receptionist who did not alert me that the doctor they scheduled me with did not accept my insurance in order that I could opt to cancel or reschedule with the doctor that does accept my insurance. Then I waited more than 20 minutes past my appt time before I asked how much longer only to realize there was another patient with a similar last name that they took in thinking it was me. I was seen by the assistant instead of the doctor as a result of their mixing up of patients. Upon check-out, I was asked to pay $42 and given only a credit card receipt so I called back to ask for the itemized bill and why I owed $42. The billing lady looked it up and said she would mail the invoice the next day. A little while later, she called me back to informed me they don't take my insurance and do I have any other coverage they could bill. Luckily, I did have other coverage which they billed and later asked me to pay another $50 copay. Then, I inquired why the $42 payment did not show up anywhere on my invoice and was told it did not apply to the $50 copay because I saw the doctor that does not accept that coverage and if I had seen the other doctor, it would have been covered by the insurance I originally presented. To summarize, they scheduled me with the doctor that does not accept my insurance after telling me they would accept it, during check-in, they did not tell me there was a problem with my insurance, they saw another patient thinking it was me, they had to ask me for other insurance or I would have been billed as a self pay, and anybody I have talked to about my concerns has basically said, "that is not my job". Based on all this, I would suggest steering clear of this train wreck. Looks like they show patients who point out all their mistakes the door so you better have very low standards and not complain or point out their mistakes if you want to go here. Based on a couple other reviews, I fully expect they will 86 me as a patient too. I guess that is easier that trying to make things right.
Not happy with the service I received. They told me it would cost me my $50 co pay but did not tell me about the $49.95 fee for the perception. Then I complain about it, only to get a letter 2 weeks letter dropping me as a patient. Then the glasses I got based on the perception I can't see out of. So I go to my old eye doctor who redoes I eye exam (another co-pay for me) and I find my perception is completely different. Fortunately the eye glass place redid my glasses for free off the new now correct perception. So go if you want, but don't trust their perceptions and whatever you do don't complain.
Have been nothing but impressed so far with staff and Dr Carter. Did my left eye first and am very happy with results. Can't wait to get the other one done. His office called me at home after the surgery to check up on me, surgery center called me the next day to also check up on me. So no complaints from my end.
