Exceptional care and expertise: I recently had cataract surgery performed by Dr. Uyemura and couldn't be more pleased with the experience and outcome. From the initial consultation to the post operative care Dr Uyemura and staff provided exceptional care. Consultation: After thoroughly testing of my vision Dr Uyemura took the time to explain what cataracts are and the procedure to restore my vision. He answered all my questions and alleviated any concerns I had. I was confident in my decision. Surgery and Post Op: The cataract surgery itself was seamless and quick. Dr Uyemura and staff at Banner Surgery Center was knowledgeable and professional I felt at ease knowing I was in capable hands. My eye was numbed by eye drops the cataract was removed and the new IOL was placed, all without pain. Conclusion: My vision after the surgery has been profoundly life changing. I'm amazed at how bad it was and how great it is now. I recommend Dr Uyemura at the Welch Eye Center to anyone considering cataract surgery. I rarely leave reviews, but I want to inform other parents. I am giving 3 stars because the doctor was fairly nice to my son, however the rest of the staff clearly doesn't care for children even though we were referred here by his pediatrician. The first staff member would barely acknowledge my son when he spoke to her and the second staff member that came in with the doctor was a whole other issue. She had her volume on her phone all the way up and was sending text messages and receiving notifications his entire appointment. He asked a few questions and she was terribly uninterested. I understand everyone has good and bad days but when it's 2 out of the three people that saw us, I don't know if that's a coincidence.

Dr. Brotsky is wonderful! I appreciated her honesty and what I need to do to improve my vision. I highly recommend her and this group.

I had an extremely disappointing experience at this eye office. First, the wait times were outrageous--over an hour past my scheduled appointment, with a crowded waiting room full of frustrated patients. They clearly overbook appointments without any consideration for their patients' time. What made matters worse was how poorly they treated the elderly. I watched several older patients struggle with paperwork and being rushed through the process with little patience or assistance. It was heartbreaking and unprofessional. The doctor himself was rude and dismissive, hardly taking the time to explain anything and acting as though my questions were an inconvenience. The entire visit felt rushed and impersonal. This office is a perfect example of a place that cares more about squeezing in as many patients as possible rather than providing decent care. Avoid at all costs, especially if you're seeking respectful and timely treatment! * To clarify, I was not the patient and took my grandfather to his appointment and witnessed the office conditions. This was not an effort to smear the business reputation falsely and is 100% accurate.

Had cateract surgury with Dr Jang in Brush. My experience was great. All my appointments were done in a timely and professional manner. Dr Jang and his staff helped me feel comfortable through the process from start to finish. I would recommend them to anyone. Thank you Dr Jang.

I learned that I needed cataract surgery, and I called them. They got me in quickly. Surgery is scheduled. I've had a couple of questions, and when I called, I had to leave a message. They called back quickly, and I didn't feel like I was wasting their time. The young lady was pleasant and really helpful. A truly great experience.
