I got LASIK eye surgery at the Loveland location in December 2025. From the initial consultation and eye exam to the procedure with Dr. Foster to the pre-op and post-op appointments, everything has been a phenomenal experience. I really wanted to make sure I made the right choice with my vision - I only have 2 eyes, after all! I had consultations at other facilities around and went with this eye center due to their knowledge, thoroughness, care, and transparency. I have felt so taken care of every step of the way, and every single staff member I've interacted with has been so kind, knowledgeable, informative, and transparent with me. I especially appreciated the transparent and honest communication around the possibility for halos and/or glare in my night vision due to my larger pupil size. That transparency let me know that would be working with providers with honesty, knowledge, and integrity, which was the moment I decided to go forward with the procedure with Eye Center of Northern Colorado.
The actual procedure was such a great experience from beginning to end. Kim at the front desk, Dr. Foster, and all of the nurses and staff were so kind, encouraging, and professional. They even made sure to play my song of choice in the background for me during the surgery. I am so grateful to Dr. Foster and the team for giving me my vision back. My results have been phenomenal. I would recommend laser eye surgery at the Eye Center of Northern Colorado to anyone who is interested in an alternative to glasses or contacts. THANK YOU DR. FOSTER AND TEAM!
Dr. Olsen and his staff - I have never been treated so rudely with the worst customer service I have ever experienced by a professional office, let alone a doctor's office. My first appointment I had to sit in the office for 1 hour 45 minutes after my scheduled appointment before seeing Dr. Olsen. I was told the doctor was double booked. I understand appointment's going over, but 1 hour and 45 minutes?!? Against my better judgement I made an appointment for a simple procedure. The first opening was 2 months after my first appointment at 12:45. The paperwork was not coed so I could not get an estimate. The nurse said Dr. Olsen was not in building to ask him what the code is so they were unable to give me an estimate. I was brought to a waiting room, at 1:15 Dr. Olsen walked by me with briefcase and coat in hand. I was again told the doctor was double booked when I asked the nurse what is going on? At 1:30 I had to inform the office I had to leave for an 2:00 appointment that unlike Dr. Olsen I could not be late for. When I got to my office, I told coworker what had happen and she said the exact double booking took place for her appointment at Eye Center of Northern Colorado. If it is not a lack of customer service, it is a lack of training on how to schedule, either way you have demonstrated the doctor believes his time is more valuable than the patients. Double booking is the standard not an exception. I have talked to my doctor who referred me to let their office know, that customer service is not existent at Eye Center of Northern Colorado and to not refer anyone.
I recently had my Cataract surgery here with Dr. Cotten. I am very impressed with the quality of care I have received from everyone who works there. Great place! I would highly recommend this practice. And also the Loveland and Centerra offices too. Been a patient for almost 3 years.
I was going to do less stars but since this is my mother's doctor and the doctor himself is very excellent with my mother I decided to just do three stars. My mother had an appointment October 16th if I remember exactly. She needs cataracts removed. The doctor said his schedule would call her in a week to a week and a half. Exactly a week later I called and left a message just to make sure that we did not miss the phone call. We heard nothing. A week later I called and left another message. Still nothing. I called the following week and left a third message. And still have not heard anything at all. But yet the doctor says that she needs the cataract surgery soon. My mother is 83 years old and has a hard time seeing because of the cataracts. From the reviews I see scheduling in returning phone calls seems to be a problem with this place. I personally see Dr Jackson in Fort collins. Much more personal and get return phone calls and unable to talk to a life person at his office. My mother loves her doctor here at this place. The doctor himself like I said is great! The staff seemed pretty nice. Schedulers need to either be trained or replaced.
I work in northern Colorado but live in Denver, so when I had an eye emergency and needed help quick I called several local eye care clinics, none had the equipment to removed my Schleral lens. I had to have a physical lens removal and although I normally keep several on hand, I found that day I had none. My eye was progressively getting worse by the minute and I called Caitlyn Bright at the Rye Center at Centerea in Loveland. They were three minutes away and she had the equipment I needed. Caitlyn went way out of her way to help my and I was able to stop the pain immediately! I am so grateful she was there that day and that the clinic had what I needed on hand when no one else in Loveland did!!!
While Dr. Manry is an excellent retinal specialist and had cared most excellently for my eye health and treating my age related macular degeneration for almost 5 years, his billing and administrative orgs are not worth it. I was dismissed out of hand when my secondary ins didn't cover the refill of a new device that was implanted in my eye to reduce the number of injections I took to manage my illness. My insurance covered the surgery to implant it, but not to refill it. I suspected it was so new that codes or descriptions weren't relevant, but my inquiry into ECCNC was shut down, I was told to eat it, and wasn't offered any help. Although I got a verbal commitment from Dr. Manry to help sort it, that hasn't materialized. I have paid out of pocket, and have filed a claim with my insurance. Why didn't they help me? Because they dragged Dr. Manry into it, it has destroyed the relationship I had with him, and made him a liar. It breaks my heart. I cannot recommend this practice, and I am seeing another retinal specialist. Sad!
I normally have a positive experience with the Eye Center of Northern Colorado except for today. I have a vitreous detachment occurring which has resulted in a blood vessel being broken and due to my blood thinner, it is bleeding into my eye. Dr Olsen was able to see me late the same day (yesterday on Tuesday) but asked his assistant to call the retina secretary in the morning (today in Wednesday) to put in a referral for me to see one of the Retina doctors for a consultation and possible laser treatment to stop the bleeding.
That did not occur and I have yet to be able to get
anyone to call me back to move forward with scheduling the appointment. The retina people
never received the referral. Their computer system is down and evidently they don't know how to work without it. They tell me they expect it to be back up and running on Friday. They don't know for sure but they can schedule something then. I will go to each of the offices tomorrow in person if I do not hear back tonight.
I just wanted to say how well my appointment went with Dr Marske. I was greeted by Heather who shares my penchant for Diet Coke and was registered very professionally. Angel, the technician, then took me back for my appt. Everyone was pleasant and professional and I will enjoy going back for my nest appointment.
