I moved out here in 2018 and I've been a customer of ABBA for many years. I had a problem with a representative of theirs who have no fault but over our own made a huge mistake and then told me there was nothing she could do about it I went back a day or two later and asked to speak to the manager. His name is A Tony without hesitation, he asked me for the glasses so he could see. I went back the next day and he immediately came to my assistance, brought me back to a desk and looked at my glasses and without hesitation new that she had put a screw in and cracked the frame even though it wasn't their frames she ruined $1000 pair of glasses. Tony was very, very professional and kind he asked me if I mattered if he would be able to get my lenses into another set of frames I said whatever gets glasses back on my face. Tony was diligent to help me. He found a set of lenses, poked himself in the finger with the screwdriver while putting them together, got one lens and then the other lenses in and then handed me like a brand new set of glasses. He wanted no money, not only professional but a gentleman but someone that I would highly recommend to do business with there aren't many people out there that will admit guilt or fault or not admit anything and just fix something for a person help them out. I'll be back in the next week to order another set of glasses off him he Has my deep respect and I will continue to do business with ABBA
I started to use this Abba location after I went through months of their La Junta, CO office, not listening to me when I said the Prescription they gave me was not clear at pick up. I did not take them home. I could not see them due to my schedule and I just couldn't give them anymore of my energy.
I decided to give another location a try this one in Pueblo, CO.
The staff is super friendly, nice location comfy seats, lots of glasses to choose from. However this doctor was being like the previous office was. I kept telling him through the process the images are not clear, not crisp, not sharp.
He didn't seem to care about it seemed like he was just done with the day. My husband sat in with me while this happened. We kept looking at each other even though I know the doctor heard me.
I waited for my new glasses and RX, but the prescription was fuzzy. I decided to take them home to do the 2-3 week test and I could not see what I used to be able to. My distance was worse, I didn't even feel comfortable to drive anymore with how hard it was to read my phone and the signs on the highways. My life got too busy with my job to go back asking for them to fix them.
In the meantime while wearing them from May to now in Nov. I lost my glasses somewhere and couldn't find them. I put on an old pair ready for the Prescription to be fuzzier then the current pair.
Nope my old prescription from 2022 was better than what they did. I can see in the distance again and read small print 14 inches from my monitor which I was struggling with on their glasses.
I can say with confidence, that maybe it's just that one doctor and just that other location, but I do not intend to come back again for any services. I don't have it in me. Give em a try they might be fine for you, but I can't say with any confidence I will go back even for a refund.
The communication between this location and their call center is horrible to say the least. Im told one time but another is written in the system. I booked an appointment over a month in advance and was told my appointment was at 9am over the phone and place it in my calendar. I then show up for my appointment and am turned away after they stated they called an old number no longer on file when I had already updated it with the call center prior. The appointment time was apperantly 30 minutes earlier but clearly I was not made aware. Then proceeded to try to book me another month out once again. Get better communication for your clients. You lost a client, and im happy to tell the people I know to avoid this location. Your staff could use better customer service skills and check their tone as well. Horrible experience -2/10
Tony the manager went out of his way to get us taken care of. My granddaughter has a very complicated prescription and they took care of us. Brenda the lady that took care of the billing was amazing and very patient with us! I highly recommend them.
Tried to get an eye exam on two different occasions with the office on hwy 50. First they tried to charge me a $50 fee due to my appointment being virtual, what??? Said there was no Dr available to do an in person exam. Went back a couple weeks later for a second appt which had been cancelled the day before (guess I missed their phone call), again no Dr in the office. Sounds like they can't keep their eye doctors for some unknown reason. Don't waste your time with these people, go elsewhere!!
Called to see if they would be able to take a look at my eye that had been bothering me since I had woken up. Got told they would call me back as they are full schedule yesterday when I called. I sat and waited and waited and am still having an issue but will take my business elsewhere. You're obviously too busy to return calls so can't imagine how the rest of the service here goes.
I would leave 0 star review if it were possible. I went in to get my son contacts and glasses. The doctor was rude and condescending. He would not address the concerns that I had for my son. Basically told me that I knew what was best for my son, and I didn't as his mother. Ultimately, told me to suck it up and deal with the situation. I am still a customer and they are providing a service, which I am paying for and how he treated me and my son was unacceptable. I will not be going back!!
I called and spoke with Angel who was very professional. To get in soon I had to have a virtual eye exam that I was reluctant, but Rick did a great job. However, after the exam I dealt with Brenda. I had additional costs, a warranty that I paid for that was never explained to me, and she had the wrong glasses made to my prescription. Very expensive.
