Dr. Michael Cozzetta

I have been a patient of Dr. Mike for over 25 years. Unfortunately, I've been experiencing problems with my eyes lately in part due to Crohn's Disease. I saw the Dr in December after waiting several months for an appointment. He gave me a prescription eye drop sample to try. I didn't have any relief, he had me come back in two weeks later. He then put some temporary plugs in my eyes which also didn't work. He said he would try to get me a sample of another eye drop. I waited since Jan 22 of this year to hear back from his office. Two weeks ago, I called to see what was going on, and if there was something else I could try. They told me Dr. Mike wasn't there, but his son would look into my problem. I haven't received any calls from his office, so I called again today, March 7, to again see what was going on. First, they told me that Dr Mike had retired, but his son was taking over the practice. Then they tell me they have some samples of some over-the-counter wipes with tea tree oil in them that works as well as the Miebo prescription. My question is, if these eye wipes work so well, why didn't they tell me about them in my initial office visit? I had two additional office visits that my insurance was billed for that provided no relief. Why was I ghosted by this office since Jan 22? I even called two weeks ago with a promise of a follow up that also didn't happen. Is this the kind of service that clients can expect out of this office in the future? If an over-the-counter eye wipe can work as well as a thousand dollar plus prescription, why was I instructed to come back so many times? Of course, I've never heard back from any of the doctors about my problems even after I called several times. It was bad enough that I had to wait so long for an appointment after being a client for over 25 years. I wonder if Miebo would find it interesting that this office told me the over-the-counter tea tree wipes provided as much relief as this prescription eyedrop? Shame on Southern Colorado Eye Care Associates!

Took my mom to get her exam and some new glasses, my mom speaks very little English so I was there to help as much to translate. Everyone treated her so well and was very patient with her questions, my mom has been to alot of other places but never got treated well. But here she felt so comfortable and happy that they helped her understand everything they were doing. Very professional and do care about their patients.

Been a loyal patient for over 30 years, and now with neuro issues. I can't even get an emergency appointment lfor less than 3 months out ??? MICHEAL COZZETTA what a pit have you let your legacy fall into due to horrible attitude employees. Gone are the days of Doc and Reenee making everyone feel like family.

Dr. Cozzetta provides great eye care and outstanding customer service. Here you are a person, not a number or a quota. The staff are friendly and efficient I have been a patient of Dr. Cozzetta's since elementary school, and as an adult I make a point of driving to Pueblo for my annual eye exam.

Dr Cozzetta runs a great office. They are professional and convenient. Doc has a great personality and is very friendly. I have always had a good experience there and will continue to refer friends and family there.

This office staff is exceptional and Dr. Cozzetta makes the experience of an eye exam very comfortable and relaxing. Usually an eye exam is very nerve racking for me from other drs. Dr.Cozzetta. makes you feel at home and he's a very down to earth kind of man.

I have been a patient of Dr Cozzetta for over 20 years excluding the past maybe 4-5 years. I don't know why I went anywhere else! I can promise you will never get the same amazing treatment from another Dr in town! I'm back to stay!

Painless, quick and the prescription came through headache free which means alot. Im 34 and havent worn glasses since the 7th grade thanks to the never ending headaches which I chose pain free and blind - til now:)
