I've been going to Dr. Gowen for services for at least seven (+) years now. I live over two hours away from where he's located, yet the convenience and level of quality service doesn't deter that.
My most recent visit was an afternoon walk-in, and despite the waiting area being filled when I arrived, I was still able to promptly be seen that same day. The excellency and timeliness of his work is stellar! I was impressed that even with a large clientele during my time there, he and the office staff were ALL intentional, present, friendly, and courteous in a way that seemed sincere.
Their welcoming behavior during such a busy time is not unnoticed.

Very amiable and knowledgeable staff greets you with smiles. Several needy patients walked in and were given immediate appointments! Heard enough of those conversations to know billing was no issue and even without insurance, it was not near as much as others in this area. Dr. Gowan was so nice, and was more than willing to clear up several concerns I had, answering numerous questions. I Cannot recommend this office highly enough.

I lost my glasses and I have to renew my license soon. Full panic mode! I called every eye care business and no one could get me in. Dr Gowens office got me in next day and within 90 minutes I walked out with glasses. The office staff was AMAZING! All in all I had a great experience there and it didn't break the bank. A few hours later the dog found my old glasses lol -just like what the staff said would happen.

Best place in town! I've been a patient for years! Dr Gowan is the only one I will see! I have a high prescription with a very bad astigmatism bilaterally and he is the only eye doctor that has gotten my prescription right! I also have a hard time getting fitted for contacts and he always knows exactly how to adjust them to have them fit how I need them! Thank you Dr. Gowan! I appreciate you!

I am very pleased with the compassion and thoughtfulness of the staff! I broke my glasses and had to have a new eye exam prior to buying new glasses. My phone the staff and upon their recommendation I was at the office the next morning at 9:00 a.m.! As I am a current client, they had all my paperwork ready to go and all I had to do was go sit in the chair. Dr. Gowen is a good doctor and I will continue to see him for my eye care.
