The office staff is absolutely incredible. The front desk and the techs are really amazing. The folks in the glasses shop are also wonderful. I'm sorry to even give them this review because they deserve a 5. The actual doctors deserve a 1/5. They spend <5 minutes with you and your child, rush through exams. EXPLAIN nothing even in a separate not covered follow up appointment to gain more information. Save yourself the confusion, uncertainity and wrong Rx and go to Children's their eye doctors have the spirit of teachers and will hold your hand through eye diagnosis and treatment. I feel like we wasted 6 months of treatment trying to get answers from DeSantis and others. Children's walked us through every single test and recommendation and WHY.

We have been coming here for years. The doctors and staff are excellent with my two girls now aged 6 and 8. They are professional, informative and always go above and beyond.

I absolutely love this office! The staff are always friendly and efficient. I have every confidence in the doctors, and the optical department, specially the pretty purple hair lady and the gentleman I've spoke with are my saving grace! They know their stuff and make ordering glasses and dealing with the insurance part so easy!!

My son was diagnosed with a cataract at 8 months old and has had two eye surgeries, so we have worked a lot with Children's Eye Physicians. Dr. Bardorf is wonderful! He is calm, reassuring, and patient with our son. Dr. Phung is compassionate and kind. We trust both with our son's eye care completely, and will follow them wherever they go.

I brought my daughter here and we didn't have a great experience with Dr. Ruth who I felt didn't have the patience working with kids. They have you waiting for over an hour in a room and not great communication with the staff that works here. I recommend going elsewhere!

This IS, 'THE Place To Be, If You Need To See'! My experience was amazing! I have had trouble with 'crossed eyes', since I was 1 year old. I have had 4 eye surgeries, to correct the problem! My 1st. Surgery was in 1968, at age 4. Then again, at ages 7, 9, and the last one at 11! The surgeries helped, and I wasn't cross eyed anymore. However, the surgeons could not fix my right eye. Although, my eyes were not crossed anymore, they were not centered properly either. My left eye was centered, but my right eye, has been a 'crazy', 'wondering' eye, always. I am now 61, and my lazy right eye, is the worst it has ever been! My mother told me, years ago, that the doctors told her, nothing else could be done, and that they had cut all the muscles they could, and I would have to live with the awful lazy eye, for the rest of my life! It had gotten so bad, not only did people not know which eye to look at, when I spoke to them...it was so horrific, I could not even look at myself in the mirror. And when someone was talking to me, or shaking my hand when meeting me for the 1st. time, I SIMPLY COULD NOT, would not, look at them in the eye, due to my own embarrassment. Well, that's when my daughter stepped in, and said- Mom, I've done my research, & we are going to get this taken care of'! My appointment was extensive, and the 2 eye doctors were very thorough! The. Outcome? *YES! We CAN FIX YOUR EYE! I am thrilled and feel like I have a whole new outlook, on life! Don't waste your time looking for an eye doctor, look no further! This is the place to go! I am forever GRATEFUL! GH

We had a good experience at this office even though the entire office needs updating. The guy who did all the pre tests and dialation was such a great employee. He understood my 4 year old and I truly felt great with having him there. The eye doctor spent 2 mins with us and told us we were good to go. I was there over 2 hours and yet she only saw us for 2 mins. I timed it too. I'm giving this 4 stars because of the guy who did all the work, not because of the doctor or any other staff just him.

How refreshing to find a highly skilled professional who takes the time, and has the interest, to address the whole visual system rather than just their particular piece (macula, retina, cornea, IOP, cataract, corrective lense). THE POINT is to be able to SEE well, which requires consideration of all these components while bringing the doctor's specialized skills to bear on THEIR piece of the puzzle. Top marks for Dr. Ruth!
