I can't say enough great things about this place. I'm so happy and blessed my procedure went well. 3 weeks post op and I can't believe I see the world clear without glasses or contacts, it's great! Honestly everyone was so friendly and honest, deff recommend this place.

My experience at the OCLI Meriden has been nothing short of a nightmare. They overbook appointments making it look like a cattle call. They even have a red line to follow in their office. While the support staff was nice the doctor was rude and did not even look or talk to me I actually walked out and left without receiving services. Imagine my surprise at getting a bill 4 weeks later for $975 and they never billed Medicare or Tricare. I called the Meriden office and left several messages but never received a call back. So I then called the NY Billing office and Miss Daisy said she would email them. This went on for about 4-5 months and no one from the Meriden office called back. Finally the Office Manager from the Meriden office called me back and I explained all that had happened and how I didn't see the doctor and walked out. She said not to worry that she would remove the charges and I wouldn't get another bill. Well I didn't get another bill ... Nope... I received letters from a collection agency?!?!!! I am retired military living on a disability pension and I kept a log of each call and conversations with dates and times. So, to keep this from happening to another patient or anyone else I am writing this honest review and will contact the BBB and CT Consumer Protection Agency because this is fraud. You can't charge for services never received and especially if you never billed the insurance companies first instead you ignored all calls and then the Office Manger lied by saying this would be taken care of (names withheld) instead you sell my debt to a collection agency! Shame on you and the entire OCLI Meriden Office!

Right as I came in there were 2 staff members greeting each other good morning and they were so sweet. This was my 1st time there and they welcomed me like I was family or another co worker. It was very nice seeing people love their jobs and who they work with. This world is the complete opposite. My doctor was just the same as who I was with before. She was patient, kind and told me what she was going to do before she did it. This place is filled with genuine people who love helping and working together and I appreciate all of you Keep up the great work

I'd like to thank the staff members for their kind friendly and professional support and assistance. I would also like to thank Dr. Jonathan Stein who performed cataract extractions on both of my eyes. He was thorough in explaining all aspects of my procedures and I felt very confident and comfortable with him. He is extremely knowledgeable and spoke to me at length about the surgery. Dr. Bhatt is also amazing. Kind, attentive and she takes the time to explain any questions or concerns. I am grateful for all.

I hadn't visited OCLI in awhile due to my personal delays. Dr. Bhatt was a pleasure as my new doctor and I'm so happy that she is involved. Everyone at Meriden is so nice and happy to answer questions. Thank you!

From the moment I walked into this relaxed space I felt at home. The staff is respectful and kind. Dr Jonathan Stein is knowledgeable and down to earth. He took care of my cataracts in 2018 and performed surgery to remove scarring on my corneas in the past month. I am so pleased to be his patient and to have my sight improved.

This was my first time at OCLI and I was impressed with the treatment I received. From calling to schedule my appointment to getting my eye exam everyone on staff was very friendly, polite, and professional. I would like to thank Hannah, Mercedes, and Dr. Bhatt. I highly recommend OCLI in Meriden.
