I have been going here for at least 8 years. I've never had anything less than a pleasant experience. The doctors are always friendly and helpful and the front staff as well as the assistants are all great. Al is always trying to get me discounts on glasses and I know I'd have spent a lot more elsewhere. I've also brought my kids here and they've had no complaints either.

This place is a joke. Michael is clueless and should not be treating patients. I had been going there for years and he messed up my glasses every time. This last time based on what Michal said I had to get another pair of glasses. Also based on something he said i had to go see a specialist and they were supposed to refer me to someone. Well that never happened(no call from them) so i found a specialist myself. Not to mention that the new glasses he gave me were checked by the new place and they barely have any if any at all prescription in them. They obviously make money by bs'ing people and giving them the wrong glasses/prescription. Take yourself and your family elsewhere and get the care you deserve. I will never set foot back in this place.

Myself and my son have been going here for about 5 years. The staff and the doctor are all extremely friendly and if both my son and I have appointments, they streamline it so that my son isn't standing around bored while they examine me. Updating after appointment today 5/12/25. Myself and my 2 elementary aged children still go here and have never had an issue with the staff or doctors. Love the lady at the front desk(yes she is very straight and to the point but if you're nice to her she's also nice to you), the ladies that bring us back, Dr. Shiembob and Al. Yes glasses can be expensive as they are at any optometrist office but they're good quality and last forever. Al also does whatever he can to work on discounts to bring it lower for what your insurance doesn't cover on frames. I've been to other discount eye places over the years and the only place I ever liked better is when I worked at Meriden Target and knew the optical ladies so they were my friends. It's been gone a long time though.

Worst place ever nothing is done professionally the woman that gives you your appointment is always walking around Barefoot and doesnt have a very pleasant attitude towards patients. The eye dr doesnt seem to be very knowledgeable or trustworthy. I will not go back to this place for any reason.

My appointment was done in less than 20 minutes from the time they called my name. I was ecstatic about that as well as the friendliness and true compassionate help the ladies at the front desk were to me in helping me through the insurance and copay details. The doctor seemed knowledgeable and very friendly to his patients. I would recommend this practice to anybody in the area looking for expertise work and a caring staff to go alongside it.

I will give the doctor one STAR because he was very good during the eye exam.... but the staff very rude and unprofessional... Will NEVER go back to this eye care place again. I gave them my insurance card filled out all the paperwork did the eye exam, chose the contacts and the glasses. I'm about to pay my co-payment only to be told that they do not except United Healthcare Insurance (I'm at a lost on that), If they had said that at the time, I presented my insurance card I would have gone to another doctor that accepted UHC Insurance. But went ahead and paid the bill that was back on 06/17/22. I just received a bill from Premier this month, called to ask what it was for I was told it was for the eye exam, I tried to explain to the staff that they told me they do not accept my health insurance and it was paid back in June to which she started arguing with me over the phone saying my can came back inactive. After 5 months you're trying to charge my insurance? same insurance you said you did not take?? I'm never going back there

these guys are completely exceptional when it comes to eye care and finding the right prescriptions.

Great doctor. Very knowledgeable. I love my glasses
