Konrad Hindola MD

Just had an appointment with Dr Konrad - she is just the type of doctor that anyone should would be so lucky to have. She is quick and efficient while being attentive and pleasant. She is a case study in how to conduct treat patients with care and straightforwardness. Would 100% recommend!

Reviewing on behalf of my elderly mother. Dr. Konrad is good but the staff is problematic. My mother has hearing issues and the nurse literally pushed her around which bothered me a lot. My mother has trouble hearing and understanding Dr. Konrad, who speaks quickly and quietly, so I have to be there to "interpret". It's also really hard to get anyone to call you back with billing questions or when my mother had questions about an upcoming procedure.

Dr. Konrad is one of the most caring, straightforward doctor I have ever met. She listens to your concerns and always recommends the proper treatment. Absolutely love her and would give her 10 stars if possible!

This was our first time here, it was my daughter's appointment. I'm a younger parent at 27 and my daughter is nine. It started off as a great experience until we met Dr. Konrad. Like I said, this was our first time here and she has never met my daughter before. Within the first five minutes of us meeting her, she asked my daughter if she liked school or if she thought it was boring and like any kid, my daughter responded with school being boring. Doctor Konrad then proceeded to ask if ADHD ran in the family at all. I was a little taken back because we were there for an eye appointment. She then continued by saying " if she thinks school is boring now, it's only going to get worse from here and you should really get her diagnosed." I thought it was very weird of her to be diagnosing my child with something that isn't in her field of work as well as making these judgments in the 10 minute span of knowing my daughter and how she can even say anything like that over the one question she asked her about school being boring. I let it all go, I didn't make any comments because my daughter was sitting there the whole time as she was making these remarks. As we got up to leave, she was trying to make me PROMISE to get my daughter diagnosed with ADHD. It was all very unsettling and I was not happy with my visit. By the end of it, my daughter thought there was something wrong with her due to what doctor Konrad said. It was very unprofessional and I didn't appreciate the way she made us feel. I was only there for an eye exam for my daughter.

I love this practice. The office staff, doctor Konrad. I was referred to this office by my regular eye doctor my regular eye doctor is in the town I live in. I never went back I would rather travel the extra mileage to Newtown to see Dr Konrad.

I had a wonderful experience with Dr. Konrad. She is warm and her confidence in her work really assured me that I picked the right doctor. She was able to fix a botched procedure from another doctor, I am eternally grateful.

I have been a patient of Hindola Konrad M.D. for around 17 years. I was diagnosed with Graves' Disease and had a bulging eye. I felt like I was in the best hands from the first day I met Dr. Konrad. She was always so kind and took the time out to talk to me. As time went by she even gave me the courage and strength to stop smoking. That alone was amazing. Dr. Konrad is a true professional who cares for her patients. She is very intelligent, has a lot of patience with a great bedside manner, and she will never let you feel like your office visit was rushed. She is definitely a people person. Dr. Konrad and her assistant Kaitlyn work so well together...they are like the Dynamic Duo! Dr. Konrad's appointments are timed where you never have to wait. There have been times where she greeted me in the waiting room and brought me in as I also saw her do with other patients. (I personally felt like a celebrity when she did that. - ) I would highly recommend Dr. Konrad to whomever is looking for the best Oculoplastic Surgeon, Ophthalmologist. Dr. Konrad is an amazing doctor. I had the privilege to work with her for over 15 years. In addition, she's operated on a few family members and friends of mine and everyone is happy with their results. If you want an honest, straight forward doctor, she's the one to see. She has her patients interest first before anything else.
