Trocchi Family Optometry

I absolutely love this optometrist, he's a sweetheart and so personable. He explains everything as he goes and puts you at ease. Could not recommend him more!

A really great eye doctor he explains everything to you is friendly and funny the best eye doctor I have ever met and recommend him to anyone looking for an eye doctor my kids love this eye doctor a lot .

Was always very nice to me, but somehow missed that both of my retinas had detached. I didn't realize until I had started to lose vision in my left eye. I didn't have any symptoms beforehand so he never checked, but every doctor I've visited since has told me they would have been checking proactively given my prescription at the time.

My husband called twice to ask for directions because he was having a hard time finding the office and the secretary was extremely rude to him and gave him very vague directions as if his phone call was wasting her time. He gets into the office and the doctor is extremely condescending when letting him know that the Eye Exam wasn't covered under our insurance, only materials were (we are new to this insurance and still navigating how everything works, there is nothing wrong with that). Unfortunately, when my husband told the doctor that he needed to talk to his wife cuz he was unaware of that (and the insurance is under myself), the doctor ripped up the insurance papers in front of him and threw them in the trash, saying that he wouldn't be needing those anymore. My husband didn't tell him that we weren't coming back he just needed to reevaluate, but this was probably the worst experience either of us has had with a doctor's office and I would never recommend this place to anyone. I chose Trocchi because I was trying to support a local office rather than a corporate optometry office and I am deeply disappointed in this service. If I could give 0 stars I would.

I've been w. Dr. Trocchi almost 20+yrs !! minus 5yrs when I moved to NYC ! He has always been very kind , & especially patient w. Me bc I'm a "super blinker pop" during my exams!! Today I found out that he's actually a superhero !! My son had a terrible eye irritation, for almost 48 hrs. I called Dr.Trocchi & the ans.machine says Wednesday he's CLOSED! but there's an Emergency # for E.R. Dr. Trocchi says but he's never been here he's not my patient!!, followed by...what kind of work does he do? Construction, of course! Dr. T asked us, to meet at his CLOSED office in an hour, bc he wasn't anywhere near his office! , Dr. T magnified the speck., I actually saw it embedded ...WOW smaller than a dust particle but felt like a knife !! I called Family/friends to BRAG BIG about my eye Dr. opening his practice pj for MY non-patient SON & eliminate the stabbing pain in his eye !! I promise u, U will never get this kind of door

Ive been going here for like 4years never bad service always helpful and answers questions you ask . love the dr hes funny nd the receptionist is on her stuff always helpful i definitely recommend this eye dr for service .

Love going there always friendly and great service from the staff my whole family are patients and have been for many years

doctor is great love him he is down to earth great with adults and kids my whole family goes to him would defiantly recommend him
