I had such a great experience there. Went for my son to get his RX frames ordered and put into Meta frames. His regular optician's office was going to charge us so much and said the frames with RX will come in 6-8 weeks. Walmart eye place got the lens in a week and popped them in the Meta frame in less than 5 minutes with no issue. The two guys there (the older one and the young one black hair w/glasses) were so helpful!!! Very informative, nice, respectful, and answered all of my questions. I will tell alot of people about my great experience there!

Waited about 2 minutes for service during what I assume was rush hour. Was seen by a young woman with long black hair, extremely knowledgeable about all of the products and services and fixed my glasses quickly and had great recommendations for new lenses and current styles. I was shocked to learn she wasn't one of the doctors on staff. This location is out of my way but she made it worth the trip.

I'm giving 2 stars because the staff was friendly BUT when I did my eye exam on Tuesday, the doctor put the drops in my eyes and never gave me the black sun glasses. I had no idea I needed them until I spoke to my sister and when I dropped my glasses at a newtown eye doctor to get my new lenses the lady that worked there told me the same thing
I was with my baby and I couldn't see anything the whole drive from waterbury to newtown. I thought it was normal to have blurry vision. Before I left she said use my glasses . So I used my actual glasses and tried my sunglasses, nothing worked.
I.feel like this was very irresponsible for a doctor. And it gets me very mad that she put me in that situation especially with my baby in the car. She took me early that day because she had to be somewhere so I think she was in a rush. I will.never go to this place again.

Don't ever buy your glasses from Walmart in Waterbury, they messed up my prescription twice,and before I say anything further it's not the people who work there's fault for screwing up my prescription .....so I asked for a refund ,no problem right?...not so ,it took over 45 min to issue me a simple refund because nobody knew how to do it until the asst store manager figured it out.so everyone do yourself a favor and buy your glasses elsewhere because Walmart vision center sucks .

Horrible customer service...I went in and first asked if I could get a PD measurement and was told they only do that for customers who buy glasses there for which I understand but their attitude was downright snooty. I then reviewed the glasses on the wall for a few minutes and the store was empty and still neither of the two associates got off their chairs to even feign assistance...I wont be byung glasses there ever!
