I normally travel often and 4 years ago I visited Dr Nieves for an eye exam. I was impressed by her professionalism and her effective team. Knowledgeable and affable at the same time. So, every time I need an eye exam I coordinate my travel so I could visit her office as I did yesterday. And again, I was not disappointed. I highly recommend Dr Erica Nieves.

Dr. Erica Nieves is hands down the best eye doctor I know. She's compassionate, patient, and never makes you feel rushed. She takes the time to explain your condition and every step of what she's doing, which makes you feel comfortable and cared for instead of lost or anxious. What I admire most is the way she treats her patients, with the same care, compassion, and dedication she shows her own family. I've also seen how respectfully she treats her staff, creating a welcoming and positive environment all around. Anyone who has the chance to be treated by Dr. Nieves is truly fortunate. I've been visiting Dr. Nieves since 2013. I live in New York City and needed new contact prescriptions while visiting my parents in Florida. I was lucky that the Walmart next to their house had walk-in appointments available. That's was the last time I ever needed a "new" eye doctor. Every year since then I come all the way from New York City just to be seen by Dr. Nieves for my eye exams. It's doesn't matter when I call her office they always find time to put me on the schedule and Dr. Nieves personally tries to accommodate me in the best way possible because of all our years together. Even if she has to give up her lunch or come in early, every appointment I've had with her has been memorable. She's amazing with all the details and always professional and respectful. My eyes can't thank her enough and has improve gradually through her years of service and dedication. So, if you ever need an eye exam on vacation or lucky enough to live in the Florida area, stop by Dr. Nieves, she comes highly recommended.
