Dr Anisha Patel is simply wonderful ! I came in regarding a stye due to discomfort in my left eye. She was able to quickly diagnose that I had an infection and would need immediate relief. Without hesitation she prescribed me the correct medication and I was able to receive treatment within the hour ! If it wasn't for her urgency I could have potentially lost sight in my eye ! She has been wonderful and supportive during my recovery and follow up treatment. Thank you for care and attentiveness Dr. Patel ! It is much appreciated

Today was my first visit at this location and I met Dr. Patel and her staff. I was very impressed when I walked in the door as to how clean this location is, and how professional and friendly the girls were upfront. Going to see this doctor was probably the best eye appointment I have had in a year. She was very thorough polite, and explained my situation in words that I could understand. Highly recommend this location. I will be back in 6 months!!

I had a great visit last week starting with getting help with picking out new frames while I was waiting to be called back, to having my eyes checked and dilated by Ashley P. who was filling in from Winter Haven. She was amazing. Dr. Patel was kind, informative, and patient. I would recommend this office to everyone.

I came to this office urgently after being referred by my primary care doctor the day prior. I have Tricare insurance through the military, and my eye was extremely red, painful, and had visible physical damage. Because I have already experienced partial vision loss in my right eye, I was genuinely concerned my vision could be at risk and was advised to be evaluated as soon as possible. When I arrived, a staff member brought me back, checked my eye pressure, and asked what happened. I explained that I had worn contacts the day before and it felt like something was in my eye, and that over time, while I was at work, my eye became swollen and increasingly painful. I was then told I needed to remove my contact before continuing the visit, and I was moved to another room with the expectation that supplies would be brought to me. Shortly after, I was told the office may not be able to see me because they believed this was a workers' compensation claim. I clarified multiple times that I was not filing a workers' compensation claim, I only mentioned that the swelling worsened while I was at work. Despite my clarification and the urgency of my condition, I was told again that I would not be seen. While waiting, I could clearly hear staff in the hallway outside my exam room speaking about me in an unprofessional manner, including comments implying that I was "trying to trick them," that I was lying, and that they did not care and were not going to see me. This was extremely upsetting, especially given that I was already in pain and distressed. Dr. Patel eventually came in and stated she could not see me due to the possibility that it "could turn into" a workers' compensation claim. I expressed that the situation had been handled unprofessionally and shared what I overheard from staff outside my door. Unfortunately, my concerns were dismissed, and the interaction ended without any compassion or attempt to assist with next steps. I understand that medical offices have policies they must follow, but the lack of professionalism, communication, and basic empathy shown during this visit was unacceptable, especially for a patient experiencing a potentially serious eye issue. I left without being treated and had to figure out on my own where to go next while still in significant pain.

I recently visited Eye Specialists of Mid-Florida and couldn't have been happier with the experience. Anisha, my optometrist, was wonderfully kind and very thorough--she took the time to explain everything clearly and made me feel completely comfortable throughout the exam. Stacy assisted me afterward with my lenses and frame selections, and she was equally pleasant and patient, helping me find the perfect pair that fit both my style and budget. The office itself is beautiful--bright, modern, and filled with high-quality frames from great brands. Pricing was very reasonable, and the whole experience felt top-of-the-line without being pushy or sales-driven. I'll definitely be coming back and recommending them to friends and family!

My experience with this optical store in Clermont, Florida has been disappointing. I had my eye exam done and was told that my frames would be ready in about two weeks. It has now been over two weeks, and they are still not ready. These were not inexpensive frames; they were quite costly, so I expected better follow-up and adherence to the promised timeline. Additionally, no one has contacted me with any updates, and when I call the location, no one answers the phone. I want to acknowledge that the staff is very kind and pleasant; however, there are clear issues with communication and administrative follow-through. Unfortunately, this experience has left me disappointed, and at this time, I would not recommend this location.

Great experience with Dr. Anisha and the whole team. She explained everything in a way that actually made sense and helped me understand how to better take care of my eyes moving forward. Everyone was kind, patient, and professional. Highly recommend!

I've been really happy at Eye Specialist of mid Florida. There were some concerns about my eyes which they were very attentive and explained things very well to me. The staff is very friendly and professional and I really like Dr. Patel. I got my glasses there too, and they did a great job fitting me with a nice style.
