Magruder Laser Vision

My experience was 100% great. The clerical and medical staff are the best in the business. Dr. Hunter is top notch. I highly recommend him and the personnel at the Clermont location. I had both eyes done over a period of a month without any problems. Thanks for your awesome work and friendly environment. 5 stars to everyone.

So happy I chose Magruder Laser Vision in Clermont. The staff was welcoming and helpful, the ambiance was relaxing and calming. The most important thing, Dr. Hunter was excellent, the results... I can now see perfectly without need for glasses. I recommend you stop by and see for yourself.

As a woman of faith, I have been praying for this procedure for years, and this team, their professionalism, warmth, and excellency is truly an answered prayer. Thank you JESUS! I had the the best experience having my LASIK procedure done last month! The entire staff is friendly and knowledgeable and they really exceeded my expectations! My procedure went smoothly and Dr. Hunter did an amazing job! One month later and everything is great and I just had my one month checkup. I highly recommend this location and their wonderful team as they really make you feel so welcome and take great care of you! After 30 years of wearing glasses it has been absolutely amazing!!

Place was clean, prep nurses and doctors very well mannered. I had cataract removed and lenses put in.. I was good for 5 months. BUT now I'm complaining to them about lots of floaters which I didn't have before. I also complained about what looks like small puffs of smoke appearing when I move my eyes left to right. Doctor said it could be my retina. So I went to a specialist and they said it wasn't my retina. Ok so now what is it? Apparently magruder doctors don't know what it is. I always see my lenses on my left side they also said that would go away. Do I need a psychiatrist??? Since they can't fix the problems.....? They have no answers thats why they get 2stars!!!!!

I went to the office in Lake Mary. I found that everyone was focused on giving me the best care possible. From my first visit they presented me with the best options for removing my cataracts and improving my vision. They did both eyes at once and made sure that I was completely comfortable and aware of what they were doing. The follow up has been great. They have taken the time to listen to my concerns.

We had a wonderful experience from start to finish. My cousin Trevor went in for cataract surgery for both eyes. The Pepsi be energy from all the staff was so re assuring and kept my cousin at ease. His surgery was quick and easy. He's so happy he can see better and feeling great about his future vision and activities. Thank you all, especially Lauren for being so helpful through the whole process.

I'm 72 years old and have been wearing glasses since 1st grade. My eyesight in both eyes has always been poor, to the point that I could not see my glasses if I dropped them on the floor. The good thing until early in 2025, glasses with bifocals were able to correct my vision and astigmatism. But as my cataracts got worse, glasses were no longer able to correct my vision, and I knew it was time for action. After a lot of research and finding Lasik surgery would not achieve the results I was looking for, I decided to go for Laser cataract surgery and replacement lenses. My choice to go with Magruder and Dr Hunter turned out to be life changing for me. After my first visit I found out I was a great candidate for laser Surgery and Bausch & Lomb enVista Envy Multifocal lens. On 1/14/26 I arrived at 10:00, for surgery on both eyes. First stop after prep was the LENSAR Ally Laser for about 60 seconds per eye and then off to a second room and the Zeiss Phaco machine. Dr. Hunter and the staff including Ruth, Ashley, Ana and Lisa along with my patient concierge Savanna were all awesome. At 12:00 I was leaving, no eye patches, just sun glasses. My follow up the next day with Dr Hunter showed everything looked great. My up-close and distance vision were great, and I was told it would only get better. I was also glad to hear that I could get back on my Harley the following day. On 01/22 I went back for my week post-op follow-up. Everything looked good and my distance vision was 20/20 in both eyes and my close-up vision was 20/15! As I write this review on 1/28, I look back on this whole experience, and it was almost unbelievable. My vision is perfect, and everything is brighter, the colors are more vibrant and not once did I experience any pain or discomfort. Thanks again, Magruder Laser Vision!! Greg Goodrich
