South Lake Optical

I just walked out of South Lake optical picking up my contacts. This completed the process of my Optometry appointment. I came to give a review of five because the service was outstanding. From the doctor to the staff. I have to say he is the best optometrist I have been to in the past 30+ years of me wearing contacts. I am so blessed that I came across this office because hE actually prescribed contacts that worked perfect with my lack of vision. I can see so clear that I never thought was possible. Thanks to his expertise. Naomi was excellent with her patience and honest feedback of the frames that I needed to choose for my eyeglasses. She helped me choose the perfect frames. If I could give them all at 10, I would. I highly recommend this practice.

Today I saw Dr. Smith as a new patient. He came highly recommended by people after I requested an eye doctor on a Facebook post. I went in for a regular exam but also to try on contacts. I have never had contacts in my life. Dr. Smith made it so very easy and he is just the nicest guy EVER ! I purchased my glasses AND contacts through them. They were so very helpful and I could not be happier! 10/10 for sure !

If I could give 100 stars, I would!! They saved me in the middle of a huge crisis when the doctor I've seen for 27 years turned me away. I absolutely loved how warm and welcoming the doctor and staff were, how much like "home" it felt.. we talked about all things eye care as well as about our personal lives. I truly appreciate their effort and attention to detail. The doctor really knows his patients and took the time to explain WHY I can't see (when my previous doctor insisted that I can ). I'm super happy with my experience and will shout from rooftops that if you're looking for a new eye doctor, THIS is where you want to come! Thank you all again for being so amazing, even on the day before Thanksgiving. I truly can't thank you enough!!!

Nohemy was wonderful helping me get my favorite frames in my life plus recommended the right progressive lens. I see perfectly all the time!! Highly recommend and fabulous doctor too.

I picked up my glasses less than a week ago and they are refusing to return them even though the frames are digging into my face and are extremely uncomfortable. I do not wear contacts. I would not have known just in the 2 minutes of fitting these frames would not work for me. Be warned, do not come here for glasses. The "best" they could offer was an exchange with a 50% restocking fee. Target gives a 90 day no questions asked return window. Learned my lesson the hard way. Do not come here if you wear glasses 99% of the time, they do not back their products. Very disappointed
