I am a modest consumer and I visited Vision One in order to use my insurance benefit and get the health of my eyes check.
Reception was nice. And the nurse tha did the preliminary screening was professional and helpful.and even friendly. When Dr Patel came in he was professional and greeted me cordially. He was great, and I left feeling well cared for.
I was interested in seeing if I could get my changed prescription placed into my old glasses which I like and preferred to keep.
They were in good shape. Since I wasn't going to buy any of their budget line of frames I asked what would it cost to just use my frames and she said , irritatedly, "That would be $265.00. And if your frames break we won't be fixing them". If fact I had to sign a disclaimer that it was ok if they break them.
Fair enough. I expected as much.
But. Note to Dr Patel..... for what might have been an otherwise positive experience, because of the very nice staff up to that point , my interaction with the lady at the frame selection counter , left me with a negative feeling about your company. She showed obvious and immature disregard for me as she closed the discussion and moved on to something else. I guess it might seem like a small thing , but just that one person in your office left me with a negative opinion and I would hesitate to recommend you to another.
Dr Patel. , I don't want to get this lady in trouble, but I think that's she's misrepresenting your concern for the care of your patients. Maybe discuss with her a more appropriate approach to sales and customer relationships would help. Sincerely Sharen Dean. Appointment was on Jan 23, 2026
I have used Vision One for my new eye glasses. The first set had a defect in the glass that caused streaks above and below lights. Really annoying at night. I returned them and they replaced them but the second pair did the same thing. It is not visible in my old glasses so I know it's not my eyes. My husband saw the same thing when he looked through the glasses. We asked for a refund for the $429 glasses. After 2 weeks and several phone calls we got a refund of $283.20! They charged us a $145.80 restocking fee for their poor quality eye glasses! That's BS!!
Best experience I've had. Staff was very friendly, and appointment was on time. Highly recommend!
Very terrible customer service had a appointment scheduled for 10:45 for my grandmother and they didn't even get her back until 11:45 waiting over a hour getting excuses on excuses over and over again front desk people are lazy and very rude I do not recommend this place to anyone
I visited Vision One Daytona as a guest of a client and I must say it was a great experience. Amy was extremely detailed in explaining how to insert contacts for the first time and was just so kind. She was definitely the high light to my morning and I recommend this location for first time contact lens wearers and even exams. They're awesome!

I had the best experience ever because of Amy who helped me pick out my glasses after my eye exam that was done by Dr. Patel and Regina. Amy was knowledgeable, professional and friendly. She answered all my questions and expedited my "paperwork". She stands out as a 5 star employee. Dr. Patel and Regina were also very good and I felt confident with their findings.
If I could give zero stars, I would. This was the worst experience I've ever had at a vision center, not to mention my first visit, and it will definitely be my last visit.
First, the staff were rude and impatient. They rushed me to pick glasses without letting me try them on properly and made it clear through their expressions and attitude that they just wanted me to leave as quickly as possible.
When I returned my glasses because they didn't feel right, the person handling returns was mean and unhelpful. I explained it was my first time there and that the glasses weren't a good fit, but they were dismissive. This was after they already had to redo my prescription twice. The first time, the prescription was so strong it gave me headaches. When I got the second pair, everything looked distorted, as if the ground was zoomed in.
On top of that, when I left my glasses for adjustments, they didn't warn me to bring a backup pair. I had to drive home without glasses, which was unsafe and frustrating.
Finally, when I asked for a refund, they refused to issue it to a different card, even though my original card will soon be deactivated. When I asked about getting the money in cash, they didn't have an answer. It felt like they were trying to keep my money.
This place is unprofessional, careless, and not worth your time. Avoid it and go somewhere else for better service.
Let me know if this works!
It's taken over a month to get my glasses. Still don't have the 2nd pair. No one answers when you call and the voicemail is "deactivated". They don't call you back when you are able to leave a message. After cataract surgery my eyes are worse than before. I've gone back a few times regarding issues with my eyes and they do nothing. My best advice is to avoid Vision One if you value your eyesight.
