When at the front desk I explained I forgot my credit card for copay, as I had fraud on my credit card & was on the phone to correct this issue before I came. They responded, no worries they can send me a bill. That was so helpful that they didn't cancel my appointment or send me home to get card.

They are just plain super in all aspects. The only eye professionals I have had since 1970! I have been seen by at least 4 of your Doctors and have been super satisfied with them. Dr. Samara is my Dr. Yes, the times can be lengthy but one has to consider the volume of people that visits this office and I usually bring a book to read.

This was my first experience with AEI and it was an extremely pleasant one! The staff is very kind and caring and I really like Dr Samara. He is cheerful and thorough in his job. I would definitely recommend this office for all of your eye care needs!

The wait time from my schedule appointment time until being called in at one half hour after appointment time. A got there early 25 minutes and did the required check-in. On the laptop had that back at at 2:50 p.m. at 3:25 p.m. My wife checked with the desk asking if she had some idea how much longer it would be before we saw some action. One of the ladies said my time doesn't start until I turn the laptop back, but that was still well before 3:00 p.m. appointment time. I thought that was rude but Dr Duss is a fabulous dr. And person does great work.So Judy just said thank you. They were also very extremely helpful when they heard our daughter or granddaughter had been in an accident at Mayo clinic driveway road and did did a beautiful job and got us out quickly. I have been going there for at least 20 years. I normally see Dr Lancaster but had to see some other Doctor there. Please excuse me I forgot her name but she was so kind and pretty amazing with all her care and information she shared with me. She took her time explaining everything to me. I was more surprised about my wait time. Usually I sit there at 40 minutes passed my appointment time but not this time thank you for that.

My appointment was a few months ago and it's taking me this long to determine if I want to write this review. Be extremely wary of a place like this that has over 1,000 reviews. There is no specialized attention here. They herd you like cattle through multiple waiting rooms and multiple exam rooms and multiple staff members. The staff is large and uncaring. I'll spare you the emotions I went through here. Not being able to see for the first time in your life can be a shocking and life-altering thing to deal with and I was not supported or educated at all. I observed a couple other people in the second waiting room in similar emotional distress and I knew by then I made a mistake going there. But l bury the lead... The prescription was completely wrong. Luckily the place I got them from refunded my money and I went to a second doctor to get everything straightened out. This review won't make a dent in an office size this big but I felt needed to be put out there because I finally see I'm not the only one. Public replies from companies are also pretty useless. They downplay what the actual reviewer is going through and focus solely on convincing future prospects they've done nothing wrong.

Dr Duss is the eye-whisperer! He is super smart, very thorough and explains things in a way one can understand. Dr Duss is also very friendly, empathetic and kind. I needed an appointment ASAP due to a possible detachment and Dr Duss and his team got me in the same day! That's what I want in an eye care professional! The whole staff is focused on providing the best customer service! Minimal wait time! Great job!

In the last 7-8 years I have noticed a BIG change in AEI's level of customer service. The wait times are now minimal, the staff is welcoming, and I feel much happier to be one of their patients. The change has been especially noticeable in the recent 2-3 years.
