Advanced Eye Care and Optical

I've been coming to this place of business for a few years now and I love it. Originally I chose this location based off my eye insurance and what business's nearby accepted it. To my wonderful surprise upon showing up to my first annual eye visit, I found out a really close childhood friend is the manager here. Well that pretty much sealed the deal for me then and I've been coming back every year. The Dr and entire staff are so nice, and very professional. I purchased a pair of glasses here in 2021 and was very pleased with the selection of frames they offered. Highly recommend!

My boyfriend Logie bear came here for an eye exam, said there was nothing wrong with him. I mean I already know he's perfect but they get brownie points for affirming this fact. The optometrist was nice and helpful and the whole thing didn't take much time, chairs with back support next time though please. Otherwise this place offers fast & reliable services, would highly recommend.

Three weeks after buying contact lenses from them I got a message saying that I owed them another $128 because they hadn't billed me enough, when I asked for the receipt, they provided me a receipt that said that I owed $128 which is not the receipt that I received on the day that I ordered the contact lenses and paid for them because I never received a receipt . I've never had a doctors office make me pay for a mistake that they made so I won't be back.

I've been coming here since 2008; for almost 10 years! I can't believe that. It makes me feel old. Dr. Powers and his staff are the epitome of what it feels like to visit a family-owned business; meaning it feels very much like a family every time I come. Everyone is cheerful and polite. I also just found out they are now a optometry provider for Vets Choice so if you're a veteran; ask for Dr. Powers at Advanced Eye Care!

This is our favorite optometrist office OF ALL TIME!! My husband has a degenerative retinal disease, and I have two medical eye conditions. Dr Powers is knowledgeable and is always researching for better ways to help preserve our vision. He is also super nice and makes you feel at ease. The staff are so kind and welcoming! It's almost more like a visit with friends than an appointment. We walk out of there feeling empowered, educated, and well cared for. I'd recommend this office to absolutely everyone!! Oh and the glasses selection is beyond compare! We always find something comfortable and fashionable. Excellence all the way around!

I had an outstanding experience with the doctor and his staff. From the moment I walked in, I felt welcomed and well taken care of. The doctor was incredibly knowledgeable and attentive, addressing all my concerns with patience and expertise. The staff members were friendly and efficient, making the entire visit a breeze. I can confidently say this is one of the best eye doctors I've ever encountered. Thank you for the exceptional care!

I cannot tell you how impressed I am with this practice. We just moved to the area and my wife and I had our annual eye exam this week. So many positives, I'll fail at being brief. 1 - Dr. Powers is AMAZING. He was so thorough in his exam of both mine and my wife's eyes and not only went in depth in his explanations, he also caught something important none of our previous providers ever mentioned. He is detailed and thorough, and was so patient with all of our questions. I know he was busy, but he never gave either of us the sense he had anyplace else to be. Fabulous. We've done annual exams at several practices on the east coast. All were good. Some better than others. He is our favorite eye doctor, ever. Bar none. 2- Michelle: I don't know her exact title or role but she was in the room with us and helped with all the administration, notes and our prescriptions. Wonderful support, very helpful to him and to us. 3- Christina Toomey: This is the young lady who helped me with my eye glass prescriptions. I almost felt bad for her, because I must have looked at a dozen pairs, asked her at least as many questions about pricing and coverage, and she kindly gave her opinion and recommendations on everything I gave her. She never got annoyed or impatient. Her colleague sitting next to her, Tiffany(?) was also super helpful, and gave her opinions of which ones looked better on me. All of this, and bonus--Christina even somehow adjusted my severely bent computer glasses, so now they are usable until my new pair comes in. Exceptional customer service! This was as good an experience as you might hope for in any health care setting, and they shattered our expectations. Even if they are out of network for you, Advanced Eye Care is well-worth the out of pocket cost if you have it.

Dr. Powers and Christina at my eye doctor's office are simply the best! As a longtime patient, I can't praise them enough. Their personable and helpful nature creates a welcoming atmosphere. They've been taking care of my eyes for years, and I wouldn't trust anyone else. Highly recommended!
