So, at the urge of my husband I went in for an eye exam and turns out I have a condition that needs surgery. I was just writing off my symptoms as common migraines. So grateful for this doctor who was able to catch it and refer me to get my eyes fixed as I could have gone blind. The doctor was very kind and answered my questions and concerns. I highly recommend. Like a good mechanic, doctor and dentist...it's nice to have the ophthalmologist category checked off.
They got me in for a minor emergency right away. Dr. Stam has a great calm bedside manner. Half the staff was bubbly the other seemed like it's another day at work. (No complaint it's expected). A reasonable fee, quick service, kind demeanor, expertise and professionalism; what more could you ask for?

I think Dr. Stan is thorough and his staff is competent. The overall value received is high-the cost is moderate and the exam is complete. He was ready to offer another suggestion for contacts that were not working so well. Just make sure you ask a lot of questions. When I got home, I realized I was not clear on 2 eye care activities he wanted me to do every day.
