Edit** Once I made the payment I put it all behind me. I received a call today 9/24. The billing department reached out and was apologetic about my issue and the time it took to rectify the issue. Although it took some time since I first received the bill, I am grateful that there is now a successful outcome. Original review* 5 stars to Alisha at the front desk who's always tried to help or assist every time I called. No issues with the Doctors. I've had a referral on file since I've been going (my reason for going). The Eye Associates of Manatee took over then I received 2 bills (1 was cleared). Not sure where the disconnect happened but when I spoke to my insurance they stated that billing did not input my last visit as they did the others (everything was the same except 1 thing).The explanation of benefits states the service was not billed against a referral but the referral is the only reason I was going and it is still in effect. I just paid the bill because I refuse for it to be the first late payment or collection on my record but I was not happy about it. My rating does not pertain to the Doctors or care team. I am unsatisfied with the billing. My visit was in April and I've been calling about it since I received the bill and cannot get any resolution.

Excellent experience because of the reputation of Bowden Eye Associates, my advice is to make the appointment and see the results, I came back after 16 years

Had my appointment today with Dr. Philip Griffith. They made it very easy to check in online.Then when you get to the office let receptionist know that I was there. Wait was about 10 minutes before I was called back for my exam. The staff is very friendly and welcoming. My exam went well. Dr Griffith did a full exam and explained my condition to me and what I had to do to help it. I will be going back to this office. I highly recommend the Bowden Office.

Professional and welcoming. Very clean and orderly areas. My assistant took me into exam room and asked questions. Very helpful in getting me comfortable in the exam unit to view my eyes The Dr. was clear in questioning and doing exam. He went right to the exam results with follow up appointment and how to apply ointment. I have always been impressed with Bowden and associates. The northside and Bentley I know well.

Dr. Phillip Griffith, is an excellent doctor. He addresses all of my medical concerns . The entire office staff is quite professional and extremely friendly. I feel cared for whenever I visit the establishment.

Had an awesome annual eye exam experience at 08:00 on a Monday (Indigenous People's day) morning. From check-in/front desk, to Eye Tech, to Opthmologist, and finally to the new eye glass counter (able to replace lens still under warranty). It was a beautiful day in the neighborhood!
