Costco Vision Center

Took my prescription to Costco and I'm so glad I did. From start to finish it was a pleasure. Got them back within in a week and they are perfect. Rick the young man who waited on me couldn't have been more pleasant and patience, would recommend taking your eye care needs to Costco Vision Center, I will be back.

I went to my local Costco today to replace my glasses that broke. They informed me that Dr Patel only wrote me a 1 year prescription instead of the 5 year one that I was supposed to have, so I had to unnecessarily shell out another hundred bucks only to be told that my vision is the exact same as it was 3 years ago when Dr Patel did my exam (surprise! I knew it would be the same) why would she only put it as 1 year instead of 5? Complete inconvenience. Mind you, when she did my exam in 2022 she told me that my vision was the exact same as it had been 5 years prior to that at my previous eye exam. There was absolutely zero reason for her to make it a 1 year prescription, and it's just annoying to deal with now.

Dr. Patel was amazing and I got my prescription to order contact lenses and glasses but the staff that works in optical department were not helpful. They had a bunch of people waiting for so long. Costco is great with costumer service so it is a shocker to me. I would go and see Dr. Patel again but would never order glasses or contact lenses again.

After reading the reviews, I almost went to the Costco in Town Center, because that is the Costco that I'm accustomed to going to. However, this Costco is closer so I thought I would give the optical department a chance. To say I was pleased is an understatement. I went by myself to pick out frames, and they went above and beyond to make sure I had the eyeglasses that not only look the best but we're the best value I ended up getting two pair, one of which was designer for less than one pair anywhere else. I have progressive lenses and they are usually very expensive!! Just know that sometimes reviews are not always accurate because the level of customer service I received was beyond excellent. Will recommend this Costco optometry department to anyone.

I wore my glasses twice. The type of lenses they use are completely different than any other lenses I've ever been prescribed. They don't allow your natural eye movements to use the full lenses. They require your entire head to move using a small percentage and mid line of the lenses. It's blurry on the top sides and lower portion. Dont waste your insurance on a visit.

They were 48 minutes behind for my friend, it was her birthday and she had an appointment. We didn't want to spend about an hour of her birthday when the exam itself only took 13 minutes.

Dr Patel was wonderful ,very kind and had a great bedside manner. She was very thorough in the exam and helpful I would highly recommend her as an eye doctor to anyone.

The employees at the vision center always go above and beyond. I've been going here for years and always have exceptional service. Thank you to Jesse and everyone who works there!
