Dr. Dawn Duss

Dr. Duss changed my life. I've had strabismus since I was a baby and not a single medical practitioner ever recommended surgical repair. I've tried all the glasses, patching, vision therapy, etc. Dr. Duss knew exactly what I needed and was very up front with what I could and could not expect. I can confidently look at people in the eyes after 38 years of having a left eye with a mind of its own. I'm 6 days post op and almost completely healed. My eyes are aligned and my depth perception has improved significantly! Dr. Duss and her team are genuinely amazing, and I'm so incredibly happy I found them.

My husband just had surgery for double vision at age 82. He is continuing to improve and we are very pleased to be under such great care. We love Dr. Dawn Duss and her staff. Dr. Duss is amazing, her, and her team, worked my daughter into their busy schedule same day and may have saved her life. The entire team was kind, compassionate, and level headed. Dr. Duss was humble enough to send us to a specialist who could best support our needs and has personally followed up since, providing comfort, additional guidance and support. We cant say enough great things about her, the team or her practice. I strongly suggest coming here if you have any concerns or needs!!

Dr. Duss is fantastic. She took the time to clearly explain everything happening with our girls and made us feel confident in the decisions we were making for them. I've already recommended her to other parents. Our overall experience has been excellent, and her kid friendly office makes visits with our toddlers so much easier.

I take three of my children here and have for the past 5 years and we absolutely love Dr. Duss. She is hands down the best Pediatric Opthalmologist around and she creates a fun, happy, calm environment that really helps make the appointments run smoothly. My three year old even is able to do his appointment without a fight or struggle because of how smoothly things run. They offer snacks after they put in the drops and there are a lot of things for the kids to do while they wait for their pupils to dilate. The office is incredibly clean and comfortable. You can check in and pay copays online beforehand and the staff from the front desk, to the assistants and even the building security guards are extremely friendly and helpful. Dr. Duss is very direct and kind. She makes sure to include the children in the discussion so they are aware of the importance of taking care of their eyes and their glasses. She always listens carefully and answers all our questions. She can see babies from birth so if you have a concern at any age don't delay and make sure to reach out to her when you notice an issue. About the only negative is the wait list for an appointment can be long, but ask to be put on a cancellation list.

Dr. Duss is awesome! She is so good with my son who is special needs, he absolutely loves her. She's pretty quick with the exams but she never actually makes you feel rushed. 10/10 recommend her office for you pediatric eye needs!
