Too busy to care for patients. I have been trying to get in for my final exam before surgery and they have canceled twice now saying they would be out of the office. Twice now I have scheduled time off of work to make these appointments. I'm looking for a new doctor now and will have to pay out of pocket for the exams but would rather do that than use a place that can't even schedule themselves, makes me wonder about their competence.

Dr. Riordan saved my Thanksgiving! I thought I had a foreign object in my eye the day before Thanksgiving, so I called her to see if I should go to the ED or wait to get an appointment with her. She told me "You're not waiting! I'll have my office staff get ahold of you today." It wasn't 15 minutes and I was on my way to the office. Everyone was so considerate and accommodating as always. Luckily, it was a small hemorrhage, nothing stuck in there. I was able to go home and enjoy the holiday worry free! I love this place, especially Dr. Riordan

My first appointment with Dr. Rioden and Florida Eye Specialists. I was being evaluated for two issues, dry eyes and to make sure I did not have any issues which would prevent me from starting a new medication. The staff were all very kind and competent, explaining each test along the way. When I met Dr. Rioden she was very kind as well and also explained everything clearly prior to examining me and with her explanation of her treatment plan. It was a long appointment but they prepared me for that prior to my arrival so no surprises there. Most thorough eye exam I have had in quite some time. Highly recommend.
