Took my son here to get an eye exam for eyeglasses. Son complained about the new prescription. Took him elsewhere foe another exam/second opinion and the new prescription was way different and invoked no complaints from my son! The second eye place were stunned by the results given by this doctor. They immediately requested his records from there. Also took it Jax Vision Care 2 weeks to refund my money for something I never received. Wouldn't recommend this place at all!

Good morning, today is November 24th 2025, upon arriving at Jax's Vision Care PA (downtown loc.)I was ackn, it's very important to me. Customer service must be a priority. Once I was signed in, I took a seat and then Jocelyn asked me to select the glasses that I was interested in seeing. We went to the process I selected a pair, paid my tab, 15 minutes Dr. Brown calls me for my exam amazing.Definitely service such professionalist key on competition I would recommend this to all.

So let me first state I went to the Jax vision downtown. I was there to pickup my son and I glasses. I was speaking with Paige and she explained the first time that I was charge for the frames for my son, now mind you I kept asking on the receipt it said blue filter and I was told a second time it was his frames, so I paid and continue to ask and she told me let her check the system because on her end she didn't see the charge and she didn't want me to be charged for something I didn't request. mind you Paige said in the system when she re-ran it through on the paperwork it said no blue filter therefore she said that it could be something that was placed in the system by accident. I said OK so then she proceeded to call the office manager which her name is Miss Johnson and Miss Johnson. She asked her cause she come in to see if we can dispute this and see what happened cause Paige said maybe Miss Johnson may have put it on there in advertently and I say I repeatedly told her no and I brought the conversation up that me and Miss Johnson had on the date of the appointment so Miss Johnson would not come in to address the issue on her lunch break so she called me at home and we discussed it and I refresh her memory who I was and what we discussed in regards to my son and she said well I do remember the conversation and then I had to refresh her memory again. I told her my son goes to homeschool and he does his gaming, but he does not need the blue light and mind you if I if I can add, she stated that he had it on his glasses before and I said, and he does not need them. He will be fine. This is the conversation I took place and so she made a chuckle and laughed and said how do we fix this and I said I don't have the time to come back back-and-forth down there over something that she should have done correctly versus assuming that my son needed the blue light filter so she made the comment. I have been doing this for 35 years. I have a new I have never messed up. You are the only person that has ever had this issue and I politely told her today is November 19, 2025. You got it wrong you are not God nobody is perfect but you're not gonna sit here and make this a laughable moment because you messed up and then you're being incompetent and you're being disrespectful so at that point I asked for a office manager she said she was the office manager. I said cool. Let me speak and let me speak with Dr. Brown or can I leave him a message or I will call the other location to see if I can speak with someone higher than her because I no longer wanted to continue the conversation because she was being a narcissist and she was being very rude and unprofessional and so she ask Paige did Paige tell me that about the the frames and she said I think she misunderstood me so if Paige wanted to lie to save herself be my guess, but there were at least three people in there that heard our conversation at the office one man that was checking out one man that was checking in and one other patient that was on the other side that was there so we went back-and-forth on the phone and I told her that I would be making the necessary calls and I would be calling the Attorney General to report her because she was very unprofessional and very rude and she assumed that I wanted my son to have that filter because he had it on his glasses before I repeatedly told her no she tried to offer me several things, and I told her no so that is why I am on here putting a review to make everyone aware that Miss Johnson is very unprofessional at Jax Vision Downtown. I don't care how many years you have people make mistakes but the way that she handled the situation was not very professional and I do not appreciate page not admitting to the truth of what happened. Luckily, they have cameras in that eye Vision place and I was standing right in front of one which was a ring camera so the conversation was captured, but I will be calling to speak with Dr. King and Dr. Brown in regards to those two individuals.

This business is so professional and friendly! Everyone was very knowledgeable, helpful, and personable. My 12 year old went for her first eye exam. She was nervous but was instantly put at ease from check-in, the new eye machine, the doctor, and help choosing frames. The office itself and the environment are very nice too. It is a wonderful selection of frames and products. I am so grateful that we found Jax Vision Care and Wellness.

I appreciate the professionalism and respect shown to me and my husband during our annual eye exam. Amanda took extra effort in understanding our specific needs in obtaining suitable eyewear. Thank you for a wonderful experience.

Great experience awesome staff! Straight to the point very friendly doctor King has a great sense of humor. Miss Jocelyn most definitely help me with my selection and was able to let me know what my coverage took care of right off the bat.

My experience today was extremely pleasant. Each staff member explained the process that prior to any action transpiring. Jocelyn is a true gem. She gives the honest truth about the frames that are most appropriate and complementary for you. She also is knowledgeable about all aspects of eyewear and explains them in detail. Dr. Dow and team delivered the authentic eye exam that provided me with complete confidence that I will definitely see better.

My experience was Excellent , Phoebe help me alot and she work with my eyes so good and she is very respectful
