I am writing this review to let the public know about my experience at this location below and for the poor customer service I received from the optician at the Jacksonville Eye Care Center. First the doctor was great!! No issues there. When My wife went for eye check up and glasses. Then selected the frames she liked, the optician (David) obviously gave poor advise obviously doesn't know what he is doing. If it was a real professional trying to help the customer and not trying to sell a pair of frames he would have told her that the frames would slip because they were a bit large for her.. This pair of glasses cost over 300.00 See Photo. My pair is also the same way so total cost for both was close to $550.00 That's not the whole story. We went back few days ago to see if we could get a measurement (Distance PD) which was not on the prescription and for us to be order a new pair of frames and lenses at a reasonable price ONLINE. The Optician said that he could not provide that number because it was not part of our service and that he is the one that verifies the number. All i asked was for him to then take the PD number and give to us since he is the expert of the number and he said he could not do it. WOW!!!! These are the kind of people that ruin a business with their poor customer service! THATS THE LAST TIME WE GO THERE FOR SURE... C.Vizoso

The office staff was very friendly and helpful. The office was clean and well maintained. The office staff provided details every step of the eye exam as to what they were doing and why, and what information the test would provided them. The doctor spend time with me to perform exam and show me outcome of test on computer and what it means. Selecting a new pair of glass was a great experience also. They were able to provide me details about the glasses to me to make the best choice for my needs. I will continue to use this office as my eye doctor and will refer Jacksonville Eye Care Center to anyone that ask me if I know of a good eye doctor.

My experience with Jacksonville Eye Care Center was excellent. A few days before my appointment, I ran out of my daily contacts. I stopped by without an appointment or even a phone call. They assisted me right away and in 5 minutes they provided me with some at no charge. On the day of my scheduled appointment, I arrived and the staff greeted me with a smile, checked me in, and I had a very short wait before being seen. The staff was very friendly and knowledgeable. I received individual attention as though I was the only patient they were caring for. The eye exam was very thorough and every aspect of it was explained to me. Dr. Favale and Kimberly were great.

My daughter recommended me to Drs. Akel and Favale. The entire experience was positive and affirming. I had no trouble making a convenient appointment and was pleased I could come early in the morning, which is more convenient for me. The waiting room is large, comfortable, and extremely clean and inviting. The staff was efficient and welcoming. Each procedure was explained to me. Dr. Favale gave me excellent care and advice about eye care. Frank was patient and pleasant as he helped me choose new frames and even replaced the nose pieces on my old frames, so they would be more comfortable. My glasses were exactly what I wanted and affordable as well. They came back to the office quickly and picking them up was a breeze. I highly recommend this eye care center. A stellar experience from beginning to end.

Dr Favale was great! I have some severe anxiety at the doctor's office but he worked with me and made me feel comfortable. Easily the best eye doctor I've ever seen! The rest of the staff was equally as impressive. This will be my eye doctor in the future for sure.

I had a Wonderful Experience yesterday with Dr Favale and Staff. Very pleasant experience and really set me at ease. He is a very knowledgeable Dr. and answered so many questions while getting to the bottom of my personal vision situation. I would highly recommend him to everyone for their eye care needs.

Dr. Favale has been my eye doctor for quite a few years now and he's by far the most thorough of all the eye doctors I've had since I began wearing glasses over 20 years ago. He's very down to earth and easy to talk to. I appreciate that he never keeps his patients waiting long, which shows his respect for his patients and their time. I always leave my eye exam appointments feeling confident that my eyes were thoroughly examined and I have the right prescription for both my glasses and contact lenses. It also brings me comfort knowing I can call the office if I'm experiencing any issues and will be taken care of in a timely manner. Overall I would definitely recommend Dr. Favale to anyone looking for an eye doctor in Jacksonville!

Great place! The doctors are excellent and very thorough. The office staff is welcoming and professional. Making appointments is quick and easy, and they can usually see you in a timely fashion. I highly recommend Jacksonville Eye Care Center! This year, 4/2021, I decided to buy my glasses at the office. The glasses were over $1,000.00. However, I did get no line bifocals, progressive lens, and no glare, and purchased the frames. This is why the last time I chose to take my prescription and buy my glasses at a different, much less expensive location. This pair is going to have to last me a long time, especially since I could have just paid an for an office visit and purchased the glasses for half that price somewhere else. I still love Dr. Favale as a very thorough eye doctor.
