Jacky was awesome. It had been some time since replacing my glasses and it was something I was genuinely dreading. This office made my visit pleasent and informative. The team were patient and kind to me and my family. I struggle to understand and they were there with me helping me understand why my eye wear needs had changed and then how to manage my prescription. They were all wonderful, Jacky was especially great. She was great at listening for what I wanted and suggest the best product for me and my family.

I scheduled three appointments for myself and my family. Unfortunately, our experience was not so great.
The woman who worked with my daughter showed zero patience. My daughter had never had a full eye exam before, only basic screenings at her pediatrician, and she made no effort to explain or show my daughter that the tests weren't scary. Instead, she said that if my daughter didn't cooperate, we would have to reschedule.
I asked to speak with the optometrist, but the same staff member returned without the optometrist and said we could let her skip the tests just this time. She then had another staff member come in her place. The new woman was extremely kind, patient, and took the time to explain everything to my daughter. Once someone actually took the time so show her the different test, my daughter completed all the required tests without any issue.
The remainder of the appointment went fine until we returned to have my husband's glasses readjusted. The same staff member who had been helpful earlier seemed visibly annoyed to have to make an adjustment. She gave abrupt commands, then walked away without saying anything when she was done measuring. My husband, still sitting where she left him, had to ask if she was finished. She simply replied "yes" and that was it.
Due to these experiences, we will not be returning to any My Eye Doc location.
I have been going to My Eye Dr in Oakleaf for years and have experienced great service. I recently had my contact exam and everything went well. The entire staff was great from getting checked in, to my intake, to seeing the Dr and checking out. Thank you Deondria, and Dani.
Jacky was very helpful and friendly . She even helped me with my rebate forms and insurance to save money. Dr. Weinstein was very helpful and informative and explained everything to me and asked if I had any questions. I did not feel rushed.
My wife and I were very happy with the visit in getting our eyes checked and in the purchase of new frames and lenses. Jacky checked every area to ensure we received any discounts and used the correct insurance. Thank you to the whole staff and the doctor for always giving us your best advice and services.
Not happy after being a long time customer I received a call from the office to notify that my family of 3 could not been seen in 3 sequential appointments 2 days prior. Appointments were made Jan 12th for visits on Feb11. I spoke with office manager who stated this was a corporate policy and no exceptions could be made. This is unsatisfactory. To get late notice and to not accommodate our family like we have been seen in past is unreasonable. Do not recommend my eye dr Oakleaf!
I went in with my girlfriend to her eye appointment and I made myself an appointment the same day. The staff was the best! From the over all politeness and atmosphere was great! I just wish they had more seating areas. Besides that we will definitely be back! Please go and check them out!
AVOID AT ALL COSTS:
If you are not seeking a patient-centered establishment, this location may meet your expectations. Unfortunately, my experience reflected a lack of professionalism and disregard for patient satisfaction, which appeared to stem from leadership. The General Manager, Nina, demonstrated little concern for addressing patient concerns, focusing instead on operational volume and revenue. This leadership approach seems to permeate the staff culture, as my interactions with Nina, Jessica, and Diandria were consistently rude and condescending.
After multiple attempts, I was only able to speak with the General Manager a week later, and only after initiating another call. When I asked why I never received a callback, I was told, verbatim, "I didn't see the need to call and entertain your complaint. My store is too busy for all that." This response was dismissive and unacceptable in any healthcare-related environment.
