I've been a patient of Dr. Laramie's for well over 15 years. Her concern for my eyesight and my family's eyesight is beyond fantastic. Monty has been there the entire time and has never led me astray. I will continue to be a patient of Southport Vision Center.

Monty gave me an option of wearing the incorrect strength in contacts because they could not get the strength in my preferred contacts (biofinity) or to pay 1200$ for the correct strength in a different type of contact lenses. I paid the 1200$ so that I can see better. Monty never told me that my first pair wasn't a trial pair. After picking them up, Monty told me to let him know how they feel prior to ordering them. After wearing the contacts I noticed that my vision was blurry and it was taking me longer to focus on things right in front of me. I immediately came back into their office and expressed my concerns (literally crying) telling them that I couldn't see. Doctor Laramien advised me to purchase over the counter eye drops in which I did. Unfortunately, I continued to have this problem and contacted them again. I came to them for help with my vision and they sold me a pair of contacts that I'm unable to see in. For whatever reason they are not compatible with my eyes. I believe it has something to do with the material of the contacts. Monty eventually agreed to refund 600$ out of 1200$ stating that the contacts were made to order. However, the first pair was supposed to be a trial pair to see if I could see in them. Even if, the first pair wasn't a trail pair, they charged me twice the amount for one pair and if 4 pairs was a total of 1200$ the refund should have been for 900$ not 600$. I am now out of 600$ and still do not have any contacts. I was never given any contract or anything informing me that I would be charge 600$ if a trail pair of contacts didn't work out. This is not right!

Dr Laramie and Monty are great people. Dr Laramie is professional and thorough and takes the time to answer questions and explain things.
